Okay people, so I was LITERALLY the only fan next to Tuesday’s Eclipse set. Very exciting for me! Later in the day I was asked by the PA in front of the parking lot how I found the set. I mean really, the movie arrows and signs (even if they have nothing distinguishing them to be Eclipse) as well as the huge camouflage trucks and trailers are kind of a giveaway. I was told by a driver that it was filming for a “pie commercial.” They can’t fool me! Bwahaha!

Moving on – I came across the set on Monday night. There was nothing more than a few actor trailers and trucks, including the camo ones of course. I came by Tuesday morning to see if anything was happening. Not much. I’m glad that director David Slade tweeted about it being a night shoot, so I took a few shots and went about my day.

I came back Tuesday afternoon about 3 pm right when cars were beginning to arrive. I stayed until about 8 pm or so. The location was an old shipping yard with a dock in the back. Still active, but looked to have some unused wherehouses where they filmed. When I saw it in the morning, I knew they would be filming. I love how the buildings are old, dilapidated, and the white paint has really peeled off.

So how do I know (or think I know at least) that it was a newborn scene? Good question.
+ The only car of notice was David Slade’s black SUV arriving about 6:30. His usual driver and very young looking assistant were up front. No other recognizable cars like Kristen or Rob’s were there, so not the main stars.
+ There were an unusually high amount of regular cars, like 80-100 (no joke), meaning not only a lot of crew, but extras! And probably newborn vamps. The number of cars doesn’t even include the trailers, trucks, or transport vans.
+ There were 2 if not 3 mobile dressing room trucks, meaning lots of costumes for lots of people.
+ The background was an old wherehouse and dock, I’m thinking Seattle.
+ There was an ambulance on set, meaning stunts!

It is a shipyard. It is industrial looking and on the water. This reminds me of Seattle very much so my assumption would be newborn stuff. Riley, Victoria, maybe Bree?

I am fairly certain it is Seattle and New Borny Stuff….

Also this evening there was some re-shoots and whatnot in the forest where the battle was. This is private property so i can’t confirm if or what they filmed or who was on set, only that trailors were spotted and vans going to and from the circus / private property gated road.

More this week… I will be able to get to at least one more set this week I hope and the others I know someone who will be going

I have no idea why on earth you are embarrassed by those…none whatsoever. I absolutely loved the braclet..I mean, doesn't Jake give one to Bella? Why would we not want something that goes along with that part in the book? I truly wish I had one myself!

The portrait..that was one of the coolest ones that I've seen in a long time. It looks like it belongs in a gallery or something.

hahaha. i know right?! i hoping they would put that somewhere in their soon-to-be house. *giggles* but yeah. when i saw this, i was like “perfect!” it gives a bit of “funky” vibe since they're one hip couple. *wink* hehehe. wish i have that bracelet in real life and could give it to them both. im morbidly curious on their reaction if they saw it. im expecting tears really. hehehe ^_^

We were a little short on wolf gals for awhile too, and with ILA's situation as well.

Well…from who I was able to talk to quite a bit..and that definitely includes you..I enjoyed it. I can't wait to go back and read some of the comments, and I know ILA feels the same way as well.

You know, I think I'm more excited to see eclipse too. It's definitely the most “soap opera” of the series, and in a way makes it a very good read too! I can't believe they're almost done filming! Time certainly flies.
