Yeah, it is nice to have my mind back to work. I need intellectual stimulation to be comfortable, so it's kind of nice. Especially since most of my classes are just fillers, so I get to sit back a lot. But I really don't want it to fly by. It's my last year of high school, you know? I'm not really ready to grow up, so I want this year to last as long as possible. Luckily, these past few days have been the slowest days ever. I've even been doing my work, so I'm kinda proud of myself. I got burnt out in the middle of last year, so I did hardly any work for a long time. And I still managed to keep my grades up.
I'm sorry about your job, but I'm happy for you because you get to take some time for yourself, and figure out what you want. And goodwill is a great cause, so I think it's lovely you're doing that. I'm the type of person who will burst into tears and end up in fetal position if I even think about other people suffering, so I love to see people helping people. And youth social work if great too. I think it's important for youth that need help to have someone who actually gives a d*mn what happens to them, and who just cares about them in general. It's horrible to feel completely alone, I would know, and I wish that more people could just have someone who will be on their side.
