I know, a great improvement over Twilight in his looks. Especially in comparison to New Moon, granted he was supposed to look depressed and tormented since he was separated from Bella, but he also looks buffed up. Probably all the fight training they had to do…

The color of this movie just blows me away and I have not even seen it yet. DS is a master of vision. Everything just seems so clear and vibrant. The meadow pictures are exactly how I imagined it to look in the book. Amazing.

Wonderful way to start the 3 day weekend.

I fell in love with both Edward and Robert again in this movie.Lol. He was much better than in New Moon. i loved his attitude toward Bella.I want to watch it AGAIN!!!!
But i can't say the same about Bella.She was very rude to Edward, She seemed like she doesn't care whether Edward was with her or not.She was like ” I don't care if u leave me again Edward, i have Jacob”.

Edward/Rob looked amazzzzzing in this film. Definitely the best out of the three. I'm pretty sure I had heart palpitations the whole two hours lol

I agree, I posted on another article that the movie seemed more on the Team Jacob side.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the movie, but I guess since I'm Team Edward, I was just a little dissapointed at the connection between Edward and Bella. It seem like Edward was more into Bella, than Bella was into him. However she felt completely comfortable to stare into Jake's eyes all the time…..
I guess it's only fair for Jacob b/c this was his last chance with her, b/c she is getting married in the next movie so byebye Jake. I hope Kristen turns it up a notch in Breaking Dawn!!!!!!! One Word “FEATHERS” Please!!!!!!

Agreed. There were a couple different moments where they should have been sparkling. Even the graduation seemed a little light (even indoors).

You have to see it! The meadow is perfect. And it's in the film twice!!! I did think the picture was much clearer, and the wolves were perfect! Finally the right size.

speaking of hearts stopping….yesterday I changed my desktop the to pic of Edward in the hoodie (you know, the one where you can totally lost in his eyes) and when I came in this morning for work, I had forgotten I had done that and I moved my mouse and my screensaver turned off and I almost died when his eyes were suddenly staring into mine. I actually gasped really loud and my co-worker came over to see what happened and the pic almost stopped her heart as well LOL OME!

I competely agree. I mean, if you really think about it, I cried whenever my man (now husband) proposed to me. I was so happy in love and I couldn't stop looking at him. I just didn't feel that between Edward & Bella. I mean, it was like she wanted him physically but not emotionally. It was like Edward could have her body but Jake had her heart. I didn't like that. If it was me, I would be ALL ON THAT HOT, COMMITTED TO ME ETERNALLY, EDWARD!!!!! If she was so afraid to loose him again, then why does she treat him like crap?

oh so you're one of those screaming kids i hated when i watch the twilight saga who will scream and comment on everything. c'mon could you be more considerate next time you watch it again. i'm team edward but i never made any sound or comment (though i'm screaming inside my head) everytime i see bella/edward scenes, that's because i dont want to disturb other viewers.

If you look through the first video when Jacob is being told about the fight coming and he says “At least we get to kill some vampires” then Edward looks over angry – Thats not in there.

Also when Bella goes to Jacob's place in the movie he throws something but in the first trailer he hits a work table with his fist.

I'm going back through them right now to see what may have been cut. I still thought it was great…going to see it again tonight!!

i saw it 3 times in the same day and i'm gonna go again today for the first showing…gosh whats wrong with me? lol

Kay so people have been coming up to me all week asking me what I thought of the movie and I can honestly say with a heart full of pride that this move…
KICKED A$$!
Not only did it stay true to the book in all the right places, it was a great movie on it's own!
Screw the chemistry between Rob and Kristen…this movie is all about Roblor…they really brought out the best in each other…Tayor really came into his own in this movie – he has nothing left to prove…the man IS Jacob!
And let's not forget Jackson and Nikki…They both had incredible moments in the movie…Nikki was amazing and Jackson…well…thud pretty much covers it.

I didn't even mind PFach's weird accent, Rob's crazy orange eyes or Kristen's sometimes okay sometimes hilarious wig action.

This movie was spot on amazing…never been more proud to be a Twi-hard!

haha nothing!! that's awesome!! and i just got off work today so maybe i can go again!! lol funnily enough, though, i think new moon is still my favorite movie, and the past times after i've seen eclipse i've been trying to figure out why…
firstly i think it's because i liked the book NM better (i'm a team edward girl, and believe it or not, that book really IS all team edward. i mean, in the end, he's the only thing that counts. he's gone, but his absence permeates the entire book and movie).
second, both the NM book and movie inspired the strongest emotional reactions in me of any books/movies ive ever experienced. literally, i SOBBED through that entire book, even the happy parts with jacob, i was crying and crying (my book is salty and ruined!!) and the movie– WEPT LIKE A CHILD.
so i think i just have a real *deep* connection to the story of NM.
but, eclipse was a KICKA$$ movie!!! loved it so much! and, it was so FUNNY!!! even when it wasn't even trying to be!! me and my best friend emmie were literally CRACKING UP and like nobody else in the theater was laughing HAHAHAH DD
in any case, eclipse will definitely hold me over till the convention in july )))) soo excited!!! <333

It's funny that you said that about being more 'Team Jacob'. My neice and her friend, who have not read the books and don't know the storyline…went with us Opening Night. Both of them left there 'Team Jacob' and didn't understand why Bella chose Edward over him? Once it took me an hour to want to speak to them again…lol…I explained, “read the book and then you'll get it.” Because I know the story, I didn't see any side favored. I'm totally Team Edward…but in real life, I'm Team Roblor for sure. I adore both of those guys! ♥

The leg hitch scene was tiiiiiiiiiiiny and waaay too close-up. I wish they brought the camera back a little. Other than that, I <3ed the movie Just wish the E/B scenes weren't so “sped up” IMO

You're right, we knew what was going on…but it was so close that it was kind of a blur. Although, when he hitched her leg and was moving against her up close, I was like, “Dang! You go boy!” lol

I had someone like that on Wed. OMG and she just wouldn't shut up and being right behind me talking in my ear I do have to confess I told her to “Shut the hell up or get out” It was bad enough we had a group of twimoms in with their babies. Don't get me wrong I have 3 boys, But I got a sitter so that others wouldn't have to hear them crying.

My hubby is taking me this weekend so he can see it hopefully there isn't a bunch of interuptions the cheering for our teams is fine others not so much.
Wow I feel beeter now that I got that out of my system.

His large hands and fingers kept pulling my eyes towards them in all the scenes they're shown, thinking, “Oh wow…”

When he pulled her off the bed after she said, “yes” to marrying him…I actually got to see how tiny she is compared to him. Because she wasn't in 5″ heels, he really has to bend over to get to her…lol…it was cute!

I remember too there was the one where Edward says “Don't worry, I'll protect you” (or something like that) but I didn't see it in the movie either.

I saw Eclipse yesterday and there were some kids yelling “hes gay” everytime there was a Bella/Edward scene and started laughing and giggling when Edward proposed. It really ruined part of the experience. My inner fan really wanted to punch them. If you dont like twilight and you think the whole story is “ridiculous” why the hell go see it and ruin the moment for everybody. Aaaargh

speaking of E/J, my husband, bless his soul, has no idea how the story ends so he was trying to get me to tell him how edward reacts after Bella leaves him for Jake. He is under the impression that E & J get into a rumble in the next movie because Bella hooks up with Jake in the end and it crushes Edward. He told me that E/J have way to much chemistry in their relationship for her to seriously end up with Edward. So I told him that Bella becomes a vamp in the next one and he says “so the big ending is seeing how a werewolf and vamp can exist as a functioning couple??? MS ROSENBERG – LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE – YOU'VE GOT MY HUSBAND ROOTING FOR JAKE – ARGH!

OMG, that same thing happened behind us in the theatre. I knew what Bella, Edward & Jake were doing, but those poor people had no clue and it came off all wrong. I wasn't impressed either. Then, at the end of the movie, they were like, “Bella is such a wh@re!”

It took everything I had not to beat the living snot out of those people! ☺

I read the leaked script, it was there. In fact, BETTER than what is written in the book. Saw the still pics from movie companion book. BUT …it didnt make it to the movie *cries* regardless, the kiss was hot plus the whole environment/cinematography(sp?) around them when they kissed. I was hoping more passionate kiss though, since it's the kiss that Bella & Edward can't do. But eeehh … that'll probably make Edward fans mad :p

also kinda sad bella showed no emotion when she was visiting Jacob after the battle. She didnt break down, no .. not even a single tear and after that … all the sudden it's back to happy Bella & Edward in meadow .. no transition in between

Anyways when Bella said “I don't wanna lose you” and the way she said “Jacob!” right before she said the whole kiss me line. She melt my heart then. when Jacob said “you're marrying him?” oh mah gah look at his face …

I didn't like this scene at all, I mean obviously Robert's interpretation of Edward, as the script was put of course, was always perfect. But I think that Bella was selfishly abusing Edward's total devotion and loyalty.

More like, “I belong to your world of vampires, but its not especially because of you.”

Where then and there I would have totally loved for her to say something like, “And then I met you, and I felt like I belonged,”

But no, she wants to be a vampire, she doesn't want to be normal, because apparently normal sucks.

There wasn't a scene were I saw her give him the love and devotion that Edward gives to her unconditionally always. Not one. It wanted to surge in the proposal scene, but that's it.

Am I the only one who thinks these movies lack emotion? What about the books. I cried reading the books but watching the movies are almost boring. What happened to Bella being so upset after talking to Jacob after the fight. NO Emotion.
