oh Goddd… I was mad that they left the part of her crying out.. But I still cried in this scene just thinking about what happened in the book !! <3 But what broke me down the most was, other than hearing Jake screaming while Carlisle was rebreaking the bones, was Billy almost crying.. OMG ! I almost died !! haahah.

I had such high expectations for this scene and it was over in a blink of an eye. Taylor was amazing in that little bit of time they showed, but would if have killed K-Stew to shed a single tear? I mean she is supposed to be near hysterics in the book and all we got was “sorry Jake, I still pick him, still love you though. C-ya.” UGH! Ok, I'll stop I am just getting mad now. =(

Yeah, I was sitting there in disbelief. I love Stew, but not even a hint of moisture. I don't know if MR wrote it that way, or if that's her interpretation of the scene, IDK, all I know is I needed to see some emotion from her there.

This is the one scene I thought was going to make me break down. Taylor was great, with what they gave him. Don't get me started on them chopping the “natural path” quote. Bella, well, she is supposed to be sobbing her heart out by the time she gets through there. I don't know what happened here, really. A fail on everyone's parts. *sigh*

I just saw it for the second time, trying to rid myself of the disappointment with this scene and the end as a whole. I was definitely able to enjoy the movie, but some part of me will always feel shocked with how this scene turned out.

I really wanted this scene to be longer!!! I was so pissed they ended it so quickly they didn't even have jacob say that he wants to be bella's best man! I really wanted to see her cry too, and I broke out crying when I heard jacob screaming.

Ugh…It was probably written in the script that Bella isn't supposed to cry. In an interview Kristen said that Bella is a stronger person in the movies than she is in the books.

i totally agree!! her hair used to be pretty and curly now its straight I mean they dont even make it sute by adding a few hairclips to make her look more like a girl like in twilight

Omg Terezita75 I completely agree with you! I felt that way in the last movie too. She should have been balling when Edward left her. It makes me wonder if Kristen is just incapable of crying on demand or was it not in the script? Either way they missed an important part in the story.

I just feel like they didn't show her angst clearly enough…how it hurt to leave the part of her heart that loved Jacob behind. The smaller part breaking from the whole, as was described. No vision of their life together, no crying here, then that ending.

IKR! She is supposed to be feeling the pain of leaving Jacob behind to the poing that even Edward is doubting whether she made the right choice or not after seeing how much pain she is really feeling. So sad the left all that out.

All the creative team obviously loved SM's world so much they wanted to do it and her justice but a lot of their asking her opinions is out of curtiousy as at the end of the day when she signs to give summit the movie rights to twilight saga she signs the creative decisions away. so its still DS's choice here
