As most of you already know Jackson Rathbone (aka Jasper Hale) is in a band called 100 Monkeys. They recently preformed at the Rickshaw in Vancouver. In attendance was the Twilight Saga author – Stephenie Meyer. Also actors: Nikki Reed (aka Rosalie Hale) and Elizabeth Reaser (aka Esme Cullen).
We have received emails from EclipseMovie.org readers wanting to share their pictures and videos with all of us!
Check out their stories about the show after the break!
100 Monkeys put on a show to remember at the Rickshaw theater in Vancouver this past weekend. Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Saga, and both Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser who play Rosalie and Esme in the Twilight film series were all there in attendance to support Jackson Rathbone and his band. After a rousing opening by the Manipulators, 100 Monkeys gave an unforgettable performance. Backstage they were very generous to take time away from their family and friends to meet fans and pose for photos. Since the show sold-out and was a great success , the band has decided to fit in another at the Backstage Lounge in Vancouver this weekend. This venue will be more intimate so hurry and get your tickets before they sell out!
because of the heat we didn’t really watch any band except 100 monkeys.
but they exceeded my expectations.
i admittedly didn’t expect much… but they were a good band.
very entertaining and really funky.
while on one of our outdoor breathers, probably around 10pm, the side door to the venue opened and jackson and the band scooted right past us (like, we had to move aside for them) into a waiting van. really weird, seeing as how they hadn’t played yet.
the van went around the corner and i assume took them to a back entrance because minutes later they hit the stage.
litterally 20 seconds after they got into the van, elizabeth reaser, nikki reid & paris latsis and a couple other folks stepped out of a vehicle and entered the venue. we followed them inside to the lobby and my friend managed to get a quick picture with nikki. she was in a rush to get to the VIP area and told us “i’m really sorry, but i gotta go. jackson’s about to go on!”
