Eclipse cast member Billy Burke (aka Charlie Swan) recently did an interview with Laura Saltman from Access Hollywood.In the video he says that there will be a cameo in Eclipse. Someone from an 80′s rock band, and they play a Vampire in a flashback sequence? hmmmm

UPDATE: An awesome EclipseMovie.org reader Lucia, has figured out who Billy was referring to! His name is Peter Murphy from the band Bauhaus. Ironically their first single was called Bella Lugosi’s Dead, and Lead singer Peter Murphy was known for performing upside down in a bat costume!
Here is confirmation that this is indeed the person making the cameo. And is taken directly from his site PeterMurphy.info

Been out of the loop for a day – and Peter Murphy is in Eclipse.

I couldn't be happier – I too am a fan of Cuts you Up. I listened to that album to death and could sing every word of every song.

Honestly, he'll be awesome whoever he ends up being, but I'm hoping that DS worked in a–long overdue–flashback scene for Alice since CH skipped it entirely & it appears that the rest of the Cullens have their respective flashback scenes (this is based on conjecture from interviews). Considering Alice wasn't brought over by Daddy C they would need a male to portray her 'maker' (unless they're covering Victoria or someone else's past in a flashback).

I also agree w/the others that mentioned him as possibly being one of the 'Cold Ones'. That's very very feasible. Either or works for me!

Because CH didn't do anything about Aice's flashback (which I'm not happy about >:( ) and it doesn't appear that CW has done anything about it either. SO maybe Eclipse will?

I've been up to Scotland and then coming back I was catching up on all the posts we missed while we were chatting until 6am in the morning lol not to mention trying to get my suitcase back since an old lady decide to take it off the train instead of hers…. should be delivered to me on Monday fingers (and everything else crossed) I just want my stuff back

Nics and Sax are Superb!!! Edinburgh is soo pretty and I was lucky to get 2 days of hot sun (doesn't usually happen) so I could see the city at it's finest… I want to go back

I am talking about going to Scotland for so long now, we are planning on making long hiking trips but everything's still on hold with our lovely doggy around. Peter Murphy has one of the greatest singing voices. And definitely a face befitting a vampire flashback.

OH, and just an FYI (sorry if someone else already posted this) Peter Murphy has had quite a successful, long term career outside of Bauhaus and Bauhaus just had a new release in 2008 – so to refer to them as artists from the 80's is not really accurate.
