New video interview with Eclipse villain Bryce Dallas Howard (aka Victoria II) on ABC News Radio.

In the interview she discusses her role in The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. If you skip to 4:00 mins she talks about Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Stephenie Meyer. She also discusses her character Victoria, and how much she loves Eclipse.

She admits in the interview she wore a wig while playing the part of Victoria. Once again with the craptastic wigs! WTHale!

i hate it bcoz it was meant for her. she did a great job being victoria. i dont like the switching thing. it's not good since it's a series of movies. *sigh*

Eh look at it this way, in the movie BDH is Victoria now when you read Eclipse, that Victoria is Rachel, and everyone is going to be happy. I'm going to the midnight showing for sure, I had a blast at the New Moon one.

Rachelle is Victoria. Ain't nothing will change my perspective (although watching Eclipse might). Giving Victoria's role to someone else is messed up enough.

Since she is not a “main” character I'll live w/ it in the movie but like someone else mentioned..when I read the books now I see the cast…and BDH is not my Victoria…the movies should be as good as the book and thath as not been the case in my opinion, but I'm satisfied this far so I will def. wait to make up my mind about her until after release of Eclipse…I

I'm reading Eclipse for the seventh time, I'm already at the part where Bella figures it's Victoria who made the newborns. Well back in the first movie when Bella thought Edward was behind the killings than in New Moon, when she thought the wolves, until it was discovered Laurent and Victoria were the culprits now let's see how Bella pieces these together.

Folks enough with blaming for BDH for something was not HER FAULT, she didn't go out to steal Rachel's job, Rachel did that all on her own. again if she had cared about Eclipse, she should had not taken another movie role, knowing how important Victoria was in this last movie. I wish people in here would quit saying “I Miss Rachelle”, it's the same old song, what done is done and there is nothing we could do about it, at least Taylor faught to keep his role, why didn't Rachelle drop out of the other movie? so stop pointing fingers at someone who just got thrust in the middle of this.

i agree.. rachelle IS victoria. ^_^ i was really devastated when she was recasted. though not one of the the main characters.. *sigh* i just love she gets along with the rest of the cast. not that BDH doesnt get along with them but the chemistry between all of them is just amazing thats why i was a disappointed about the whole recasting thing. but *sigh* nothing we can do about now..

and yes, where the hale is the trailer? even a sneak up? damn… this is just unbearable.. it's like we're back to zero again.. *sigh*

Hey sorry I yelled at you momma, but it no use crying over spilled milk what done is done, I hated that they replaced Rachelle as well especially since the Victoria/Harry/Wolves show down was one of the most epic scenes in a movie. And I was salvating her return in Eclipse. But I refuse to label Rachelle a victim, she should had waited to do another project after Eclipse was done.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone “blame” BDH for the role of Victoria, especially here.

We were outraged at Summit's apparent callousness toward Rachelle, but I can't remember anyone ever blaming BDH. If you remember correctly, Rachelle didn't find out that she'd lost the role until Summit announced her replacement. She was gutted!

Most people felt very sympathetic that she had been thrown into this role and couldn't imagine another Victoria, but I honestly can't remember people hating on her directly.

Just because people miss Rachelle doesn't mean they hate BDH. The two notions are mutually exclusive of one another.
