Eclipse 200906121729 Official Eclipse Open Casting Call for Seth and Leah Clearwater casting

Summit is holding an official open casting call for the roles of Seth and Leah Clearwater. Both are important roles for members of the Quileute Indians in Eclipse. To participate, you must fit the general age range and description of the character, and then record your scene using Actorcast software.

Almost? It would completely ruin it. I have no quams with young Disney actresses like Selena or Vanessa…..but they just aren't right for the role of Leah. You need someone who has alot more edge.

wambli eagleman may be great, don't know of him and I am familiar with the NA/Indigenous actors. Problem is that he's on the web trying to “find his family” which is not a good sign…hopefully that is not just someone posing as him trying to make him look bad. Papers (cards) are necessary for these roles…no new “discoveries” of Native ancestry and just deciding someone told you once you were Native or “having a Cherokee grandma” will do it…

So sick of that

Qorianka Kilcher and Wambli Eagleman Are friends too…it would be super cool to see them both play leah and seth.

i really did hear it..so would that mean he has a chance at getting the part.???

But he also said the roles of the new comeers have not been filled yet.

Interesting take on Leah and Seth….I saw Qorianka's profile somewhere, she is quite short…too short to be Leah, too sweet looking. Wambli I have not heard of either but I did check out his myspace site, it's a private site and only showed a rather older looking native man…I mean really…Seth? I'm not too sure on this take, I see Seth as quite young looking, with a bit of vulnerability, and trusting innocense. Perhaps someone is doing PR work for these two individuals? Have seen it done before…I mean, we're ALL anxious to see who is chosen, lets not jump the gun here.
I googled native actresses, and came up with quite a few beautiful native american/first american ladies…TALL and slender who all seem to have the qualities the producers are looking for, I imagine it's narrowing it down and I think…they will choose an unknown…both for Leah and Seth.

I was So filled with Joy while driving to work the other day and actually hearing the THE Ryan Seacrest talking about Wambli Eagleman and Miss Qorianka Kilcher!! i was filled with joy because its good to know that Natives are actually being recognized more and for ryan to be talking about Eagleman and Kilcher for talks about the twilight movie was fun to know. I wish nothing but the best and hope for the best for Wambli Eagleman and Qorianka Kilcher NATIVE PRIDE.

So much support for mr eagleman and miss kilcher. I actually have seen Qorianka Kilcher and Wambli Eagleman before At the Gathering Of Nations Powwow in Albuquerque New Mexico. They Seemed to draw all the attention.

I think that Saqib Ghuman might be too tall, and that Tyler Posey is also the same height as Taylor Launter 5'10. They will both be 18 before Taylor Lautner. And Tyler Posey as well as Saquib will not be able to capture that I look up to you you are my hero relationship with Taylor Lautner as instead they will look like Peers. Their is a big difference when a kid who is really 15 years old and stands next to a older kid who is almost 18 years old. I bet Summit will hire an actor who is actually 15 years old, this way the relationship between Seth and Jacob can be captured on film really well. You know when you see a high school freshman next to a High School Senior. There a alot of distinctive differences. Seniors are more cooler and Freshmans think it is cool to hang out with the Seniors. The actor cast to play Seth will be, I bet, a real kid who is 15. They will not cast an actor who is taller than Taylor Lautner. Since Taylor is already kind of baby face, and he will be 18 in what January, or something like that, they will choose a young 15 year old to play Seth, this way he will stay 15 even up to the filming of New Moon. Remember Seth sees Jacob like a hero. There is no way Tyler Posey can pull that off. He will be 18 in October. If fact, Tyler will have to act hard to try to give the feeling he thinks that Taylor(jacob) is his hero. It will come more natural for an actor who is actually a couple of years younger than Taylor Lautner.

i personally know wambli eagleman and qorianka. they are two very talented and down to earth people. they speak up for things that matter and are role models for the youth. dont ever judge a person if you dont know them. yes they are both native american and good friends. i wish the very best of luck to both of them.

I think it is terribe to trash talk Wambli Eagleman and Q'orinaka Kilcher. They are talented actors and Wambli helps the homelesss. Too bad for the role of Seth he looks too old. He actually has stated himself that he was almost cast as Sam. That should say alot because if he was being looked at for Sam how can they now considered him for Seth, because according to breakdowns sent out by casting, Seth is actually going to look like a 15 year old. The actor cast to play Sam is like in his early 30's. I heard that Q'orinaka auditioned for Leah Clearwater from her own words. That is not a rumor it is fact. But at the time, even she did not know if she got the part.

Yes, maybe Wambli did audition for Seth. He is a talented actor, but his correspondence with a kid on my space(Koa Orquia) suggests that he did not receive a callback. This was just a few days ago. Wambli sounds like he gives alot back to the community. Which is awesome. He would have made a great Sam, I am sure.

Actually he states he did receive a callback. Does anyone know how old he is? He looks older than 15 and way older than Taylor Launter. I mean how can he almost get the part of Sam and now they are considering him for Eclipse Seth? He said he was sent a basket from the casting department from when he auditioning for Sam. He is a really nice guy. I am just confused. Well good luck to Wambli for the role of Seth.

But boo boo looks asian? He is chinease? He is also not Native American. If Boo Boo is Seth, the Native Community will be outraged! I heard that he didn't show any paper work to prove he was Native. If that it is really true. Summit will be in trouble. The current wolf pack HAD to prove they were Native American! They obivously look Native and YET they still had to prove it. Now Boo Boo does not look native, he looks white and Asian. One would think that he WOULD have to prove his heritage. Yes, this is some kind of discrimination against Native Americans.
