Eclipse Peta Peta Uses Twilight To Illustrate New Campaign twilight

Peta has jumped on the bandwagon and is now using the Twilight fandom to promote their new campaign against eating meat and wearing fur.

Above are two illustrations that they are using featuring knock offs of Edward Cullen and Jacob Black.

What do you think of Peta’s new campaign? Hit or another desperate attempt by Peta?

MrsArianaEdward Cullen- for some reason they wont let me reply directly to your last reply so ill just post what i have to say here.

    1. meat is basically like fiber, except unhealthy. it sits in your stomach, slowly rotting, until it eventually goes down. technically, you can eat it and feel full, but as humans dont have the specific stomach acids necessary to digest it properly, it is also technically inedible.

    2. many christians are dumbasses. since i dont know you in person, i cant say wether you are a dumbass or not. but many christians are. they make life decisions, including the decision to kill millions of animals a year, on something someone wrote a long, long time ago. has god ever shown up at your front door and said “hey, feel free to murder all these animals, i say its ok, so go for it”? didnt think so. if god was real, he would show up sometime to save millions of nonbelievers and people of other religions from going to hell. he sounds like a bit of a prick to me.

just one more tihng about religion, while were on the topic: every single person on earth is going to hell- hypothetically, if there was one (because truthfully, ther is no place in the center of the earth where people go after they die) because basically every religion says that if you arent a part of their religion then you are going to hell. you cant be a part of every religion, can you?

you also said that i didnt “move you”. im not trying to, i know when people have ideas in their head about life they dont change. well, some people do, but the majority of christians ive met are horribly judgemental of other people because they are so sure their theory is right- but no one…NO ONE…has ever proved that the bible is right. its just stories. that isnt an insult! the bible really is just made up stories.

    3. you are correct about one thing- the majority of animals arent eaten. because the majority of animals includes house pets and wild animals and bugs. but the majority of cows and pigs and chickens are eaten, and more are being unnaturally created every day. just make sure what youre writing makes sense….

    4. and im really sorry, but that last paragraph you wrote just made you seem stupid. you said that you respect vegetarians and dont care what they do, but then you immidiately wrote that you dont support their life choices and people like me piss you off. that makes no sense at all. if you cant think of anything to say to prove me wrong, dont make stuff up or ramble. give me clean, hard evidence that animals are meant to be cruelly slaughtered and why we should believe that there is is a man in the sky who smites people if they dont like him or do exactly what he says. THEN reply.

I don’t care for the illustrations. I think that it is a desperate attempt.
Everyone has their own opinion. I don’t get the red eyes on the vampire?

    Hi Keshia,
I respect your opinion. PETA is trying to do is to be an evangelist of vegetarianism. I was a non vegetarian earlier but when I learned about the horrors of animal farming, I became a veggie and trust me I haven’t felt better than this ever. When you learn that some living creature has to live such a horrific life just to end up on our dinner plates, an person with a conscience will think twice. They are all unique and feel the same pain as humans. PETA is doing a grt job of spreading awareness. BTW there are many souces of protein other than meat. I don’t intend to hurt your feelings through my reply but you can think about it.

I find it hilarious that PETA, who advocated for animal’s rights, promotes an image of Edward Cullen, an animal slayer who ENJOYS hunting animals, covered in blood that most likely belongs to animals he’s hunted down and sucked the life out of.  Hilarious.
