Yeah…don't even GET me started on what could have and should have been improved in the movie! Yes I'm thankful we have the movie…yes I'm thankful it served as a stepping stone for many, Taylor in particular, but it was way too rushed, not enough character development, and too many parts omitted. I know they couldn't include everything and that movies are never exactly like the book.

However…when you put all of the scenes together that were unnecessary compared to how extending some scenes would have helped out tremendously (or even added a couple more short ones), so much more could have been accomplished in that movie.

I also liked Edward more in the books than the movie,and I really think that's because in the books we got the full character of him…his intense side, his romantic side, his protective side, his teasing nature side….so many more dimensions to him in the book that were barely even touched upon in the books. That's why I'm so glad I read the book before I saw the movie. If it had been the other way around I don't know how I would have felt about him. I'm sure I woudl have still liked him, but I don't think I would have known or understood so much about him.

Edward was good in Twilight (good grief…doesn't EVERYONE want a meadow scene like that in their lifetime?!) …until Jake came along in NM and captured my heart forever! )

My life story is kinda similar. My Dad was abusive and he practically almost killed my mom all the time. When I was in Second Grade my mom left him took me, my 3 sisters, and my 2 brothers and went to an abusive shelter and I haven't seen him for a LONG time. But those first few years were TOUGH! I ate my feelings. I hated that i didn't have a dad and i never did have one. and that we went through all these rough things and i had anger problems but I dropped that weight and i took therapy and now I am happy with my self. But it was difficult dropping the weight. And twilight was the first book i read and loved in a LONG time. and i do feel like the Mike Newton tho. My bestfriend and i both like the same guy(Ethan) but he broke up with her. but i doubt he likes me that way.

Wow that almost made me cry…*whispers* if I was alone in the house right now I probably would have cried pretty hard. This is one of the reasons I love Twilight so much! We can relate to the characters and the community is amazing!!! I LOVE the way every one comes together over these amazing books. I feel like righting a think you letter to Stephanie and go on a run lol if I ever feel lazy I’m going to think of you (mIee) and get up and do something active I would just like you to know that you made my day…maybe I should rephrase that, you made my week. If only the world would come together like us Twilighters. Peace, Love, Twilight <3

wow it is amazing the support on here! Glad I could make your week cause you guys made my life! I am rereading breaking dawn now and I am crying so hard. How can a BOOK make a 33 yr old lady cry like this? Because it is epitamy of whay every women wants!…minus the dinking blood thing..of course. I will be sad when its all over and everyone moves on, but my new found friends and encouragement will always live on!

Never allow anyone to treat you secondbest.Good for your mother having the courage to leave.Yea it was so easy to gain weight, but very hard to lose it.When you feel like you have no reason to its even harder! Those books changed so much inside me.Glad your here with us.Age has no meaning here too and i love that!

I completely agree with you, I will never forget this part of my life and how great these people are. We should have reunions kind of like high school reunions where we meet up after the Twilight phenomenon has passed lol…that would be awesome

I would like to share my story too! it has nothing to do with weight or nething. Stephenie meyers books just made me fall in love again with my husband. He is my edward,,the things he has done for me. I don't think anyone else would have done. My family was against him (my husband) and I was like,,all alone at one side while the rest of my family on the other. It took us 5 yrs to convince my parents and another 2 yrs of engagement. Now we have been married for 5 yrs,,,and these books!! they are awsome As I said,,,they remind me of my husband and all the things he has done for me.
ok,,im gonna shutup before u guys get bored…
btw; I told my husband,,,i love edward and he has to live with it! haha he's cool with it. just shakes his head from time to time.

The VMA's are held at the Radio City Music Hall. I have no other info than that. I would google it or go to MTV.com. I'm not a VMA fan. My office was 2 blocks away. It was always a flipping mess.
