Did anyone stop and think that perhaps R/K are aware of these “outings”? I know they haven't been comfortable confirming it themselves b/c they don't want to discuss their private lives, but maybe by allowing others to speak about it–the PRODUCER, and the DIRECTOR (two very influential and important people, who surely know if the subject is taboo or not)–is their way of confirming without making a big deal of it, while still keeping some semblance of privacy. IMO, it seems like too much of a coincidence for TWO higher ups to out them within a week unless the green light was given by R/K or their people. Have we seen any retractions given by either publicist in the light of the Wyck Godfrey confirmation in People? No. And we won't see any for Slade's comment either. If these allegations were false, or if R/K wanted to do damage control, R/K's people would be all over it. So lets not jump down DS's throat until we know the facts. It could be he's being an a8***(&&. But it could be that, now with Eclipse released, the contractual obligations for the first 3 movies are fulfilled and it may not need to be a secret anymore.

Completely Agree. I LOVE them, and would love to see it confirmed by themselves, but, as you said, I respect they want to keep it private!

LMAO at some people, this is NOT some new breaking news here, maybe to some in denial but to us normal folks they have been together as a couple for a year now. Please people stop making such a huge deal out of it, and enjoy there MOVIES. They do not define each other as actors, and thats all that we should be worried about is them making are Saga the way it should be.

i listened to it, and I’m not saying whether or not the two are together, but they didn’t give us audio of him saying “I KNEW THEY WERE A COUPLE”. They could have asked him things like “Did their personal lives affect acting” and he then he said “they kept their personal stuff outside the doors”. I’m not saying the two aren’t together, but I feel like this was cut in just a way so that they could have a story… you know?

Yeah it's too big a coincidence — esp that Wyck guy is slated to produce the remaining movies, right? No way would he spill in print like that if he thought it would mess him up with R/K. Well…it's quite obvious that they were gonna be in a relationship from the first Twilight. Just like what Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt tried to pull off, but still. C'mon guys, get serious. We all knew…or perhaps, had a feeling…that they were gonna end up as a couple. Well…yes, they have been on-and-off a bit as well. But a few weeks back, I saw an article in some magazine saying Robert left Kristen because he was tired of her misery.

Yes, like any other Twilight fan, I got a little excited. But it was only for a while, or course. You can tell by the way in Eclipse how their passionate scenes were. You can see them anticipate in the kiss themselves, not just for the fans or to make the movie look better.

*(sigh]* Poor Magazine Publishers and Hollywood directors…they always try to grab someone's ass for no reason. I mean, what's the point in all that? They have nothing else to talk about except for celebraties' private lives and what they're doing and how they're doing it. It's sad, really.

I don't think David Slade was trying to be malicious or talk about something that really isn't his business. Although I've never experienced one, I am sure red carpets are extremely nerve-wrecking and sometimes when a person is asked a question they just say the first thing that comes to mind. That being said, it really is no one's business whether or not R/K are together or not. (Even though I firmly believe that they are…Team Robsten!) If R/K want to keep it private, fine. But reporters and the media are going to ask their castmates, crew members, etc. about them if they can't actually ask R/K. I know it sucks but they are not the 1st Hollywood couple to be grilled about their relationship and I am certain they won't be the last.

I'd rather just give DS the benefit of the doubt. He didn't mean anything by what he said…he was probably nervous and just answered what popped into his head first. He was not trying to “out” R/K, frankly, he was just being honest. I want to thank you DS for making the best Twilight film yet and really giving us fans what we've been waiting for. =)

This stir has gone on for too long. As much as I am Team Robsten, why must they always be hounded by media and journalists about something that doesn't even have to do with the Twilight movies? I think that media has no boundaries anymore!!! Stop with the dang uncomfortable questions!! One thing I hate so much is that they're quite young and it seems like they're the only ones getting the unwanted attention. Has anyone ever questioned Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens on their relationship? NO!! And the High School Musical franchise was pretty popular. What exactly makes KS and RP so different? They won't admit it!And unless they do, no rest from the SAME questions… Gosh, I'm contradicting myself now! XD

Heyy!!!! It's my first comment here!! I've been following newmoon.org and eclipse.org since the beginning and stuff… but anyway.. about DS and the producer talking about RP and KS's relationship… i don't think they did it maliciously and also i don't think robsten's publicist allowed them to talk about it…
David Slade is only one of the 4 directors the Saga has. If robsten don't like talking about it with us, do you guys really think they'd tell the directors and producers just for the sake of it? why would they ever tell the director that they are together?? Catherine, Chris and David may have noticed the chemistry. They never had the confirmation ..just like us… but i mean.. there is gossip surrounding them and maybe the cast does know about it for sure… we don't know… i just think that DS was very innocent about it… he obviously doesn't watch tv nor read magazines.. because not to know that everybody's talking about it and trying to figure ou if it's true or not and then to talk about it in front of a camera…
let's see what happens from now on.. what will thye comment abou it.
