Entertainment Tonight has a new interview with Reese Witherspoon, who will be in Water For Elephants along with Robert Pattinson, and Christoph Waltz.

Reese discusses Water For Elephants and Robert Pattinson.

In the movie Robert plays the part of Jacob Jankowski ( Rob playing a character named Jacob? Wrong .. so wrong ).

IMDB only has few details on the plot for this movie -

A veterinary student abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their vet.

Yes, it is kind of weird having Rob playing a guy named Jacob! But, he will still be hot as Edward, Tyler, Jacob and whatever they want to call him!

I absolutely adore Reese Witherspoon. Walk the Line, are you kidding me? She is one of the few actresses that I can stomach in rom com's these days.

So obviously I am excited about seeing her and Rob in this film. Rob has some great projects coming up. I am pumped to see him spreading his wings.

He's a polish Jacob (in a round about kind of way). It's OK though, just read the book, and Rob did a tremendous job playing “jacob” in my head when I read it. Im very, very , very much looking forward to this one…I liked this book a lot…..(who's doing the screenplay….yikes!)

Once u read WFE the name Jacob will not seem significant. It is an excellent read and will no doubt be an awesome movie. Rob will be perfect as Jacob. You just fall in love with his character. People really have to start thinking beyond twilight. I know it's hard but a true reality for these actors. Read the book. U will love it.

I totally agree. This movie is going to be so good. I am an avid reader, and this is one book that I think the movie might be better than the novel. I guess visually is what I am talking about.

Bel Ami is just going to be crazy. I am reading it right now, and I just can't wait to see how the adapt it to screen.

its a agood book but i have to let you know that its one of those books that you cant quite explain to somoene what its really about bc its just so different but overall its a good book on its own, pretty much like nothing youve ever read before. =) reese will be playing robs love interest. theres a hint.

dude this book is awesome i just recently read it ahaha the whole time i was like reading it and screaming at it ahahah like one of those people who watches horrow movies and says “dont go in that closet” i was like that to this book…..reese is one of my fav actresses! i am so happy he is working with two oscar winners! oh and I have an older man crush on Christoph , he is so fine!

I just got it from the library.. a few chapters in.. it's really good so far! The beginning hooks you immediately. I barely got anywhere in it yet, and I'm happy there is going to be a movie!

And what's this story about an elephant frisking Rob?? I never heard this. ::perks up::

He talked about it in the Details magazine interview… he said this female elephant picked him, turned him upside down, holding him in her mouth, and frisked his pockets for peppermints. He said it was fascinating, and would love to have something like that happen again. He was also talking about how elephants can imitate other animals, and how smart they are… it was awesome.

This is an awesome book! It will be a great career move for Rob. The story is heart wrenching but in a beautiful way. I am excited for him.

Water for Elephants is a great book! I highly reccomend it for all book lovers out there! It is a far cry from the Twilight series though.

This book was excellent. I cried, I laughed, I read it in less than a day. Robert will do great. The character of Jacob is perfect for him.

I agree! I absolutely fell in love with the book, i really think this is going to be a fantastic movie =) Rob is going to be perfect for jacob. At first its somewhat ironic and wierd to think of Rob playing a “jacob” but ppl please READ THE BOOK! Its amazing!!! Rob is just perfect for the part.
