Is it strange that I cry everytime I see him giving an interview for Remember Me? EVERYTIME! He is just so gut-wrenchingly good in this role that I feel like I've been eviscerated whenever I watch him in anything that has to do with it. Yeah he tries to play down how much French he speaks — “a little” — like you play guitar and piano “a little”? No one can say Guy de Maupassant in that accent without being pretty sure of his French. And he sounds fantastic.
Wow…to see him completely unrestrained in that scene is a breath of fresh air. Some of the first clips I saw of RM seemed so similar to the quietness of Edward but NOT this scene. Total departure.
He sure does have a gift:) And btw, why didn't they give a warning that they were going to show Rob's happy trail?! Don't they know the effect his happy trail has on me?! I seriously almost fainted!

That's a good point. After all the NM promo stuff I do worry they will show us all the good stuff via clips. Although we're so close to the release date that unless they move it back (!) I feel your pain. Eclipse is my favorite book. Not just for the leg-hitch, and Jasper's backstory, but because it was well written. And to completely change it so it caters to the males, just irks me. There is no guarantee that men will see it just because there's some a**-kicking. But, I am excited to see Remember Me as well as the Eclipse trailer (which I got hyped for last weekend seeing Alice in Wonderland).
And might I add did Robert have to say Guy de Maupassant like that? Oh god, I love French names.

i know, i know……I was just really really REALLY looking forward to it, and im spuey that im prob not going to see it tonight…….snot fair……usually, we get nothing, and are last on the list of everything special, and for some reason, the powers that be have decided that RM is on here first…(yeah!), i just wanted to see eclipse trlr too…….it's just put a bit of a downer on it for me, that's all…….right, must go and hook computer up to big tv, so i can trick my mind into thinking im watching it on a big screen……(it's so much more special on the big screen….i watched the RM trlr like 500 times on crappy computer, but i saw it last time i went to the pictures, and it's so much more special………*fans self*….there in 12 hrs…..phew…..)
I remember Rob saying in an interview that he and Stewy had the chance to work with the lines and scenes, but that the third one was more set in stone. I forget where I read that. I don't think they had the same creative expression on this one. But judging from the leaked pics, I think we will get our romance. The one that has me worried is the school parking lot/motorcycle pic that was out there. I'm not happy about that.

I really want him to do physical comedy…very broad comedy. He can make such exaggerated facial expressions…and with his gangly long arms and legs–he would be just hysterical in physical comedy I think!

hmm I'm not sure when it would be, since it was a t.v. movie. I recently was on a mission to watch all the films, I thought speak was amazing, and how to be was on of the movies where I was embarrassed for the character, but he did the character very well.
I did eventually find Bel Ami, though I ordered it from a library of a neighboring university, from my university account lol. I was going to order it online but seeing as I'm a poor student…. haha

I think it started because in the movie, we don't get the time spent on the two of them falling in love like we do in the book. It never came across as cheesy in the book because it was played out. The movie – not so much.
I have finally figured out why I don't want to see RM. For the past couple months I'd see the posters/pics all of that and I'd just be like, “meh..I don't really want to see it” not that it doesn't look interesting. There was something about the movie…and NOW I know why. I'm not going to spoil anything. I'm pretty sure though, if I had gone into the movie not knowing the story or anything and expecting a typical romantic drama, I'd be pretty depressed at the end. Some things don't need to be retold, or maybe it's too soon for some… *sigh*
