I do love Washington. I live on the East side of the state. Our weather is moderate. Winters are generally below freezing – in the teens and 20's (F), moderate rainfall unlike the coastal area, and summers are rarely over 95 degrees (F). We have what I call perfect seasonal weather…not to cold – not too hot – JUST right! Hehe…Seattle and the Olympic peninsula – THEY get a LOT of rain as you know! hehehe

Seasonal is good! It gets far too cold here in the winter. And summers are usually really humid and hot in the summer. Like having a 60 degree temperature difference in one year is ridiculous in my opinion.
I have a laundry list of reasons to move the west coast, weather being the key point lol. I could do it, being young and single, I just don't think I could move across the country with no prospects and no one knowing me lol.

Yes – picking up and moving to the unknown can be intimidating! I will say, we are a friendly lot of people and welcoming! One way to decide would be to check us out for a couple of weeks – you know, dip your toes in and see if you think you could do it permanently. The cost of living here in Washington and Oregon is much lower than the Eastern states. California – expensive. An income in the area I live in of more than $50,000 for a single person is considered moderate to high. Housing is less expensive. The Seattle area is pricier but still more affordable than Los Angeles or San Francisco…

awww cool. You sound very welcoming! Vancouver is getting very expensive to live, I think its becoming one of the most expensive cities to live in the world I recently I read. I would probably rather by in a smaller, more chill area anyway, busy cities tend to frighten me lol.
I sort of picked up and left as I went abroad on exchange to Poland last semester, and that was an amazing/scary experience, so I know I could do it, just a lot of planning would be involved.
