Details Magazine has officially released the pictures and outtakes from their photo shoot of Eclipse hunk Robert Pattinson!

The pictures were done by photographer Norman Jean Roy. While I think they were tastefully done, some may not agree. Therefore in this post you will only see the pictures that are safe for all of our readers to see.

My mouth literally dropped when I saw that first picture of Rob. Gorgeous and I think this was a wonderful photo shoot that was like something he’s never really done, but I personally think that’s a good thing.

exactly Rob is a man not a boy and as for Taylor no he is so not ready for something like that he could not handle it no way and yes Rob did need those photo shoots to step out of the shadow of Edward Cullen and I am so happy that he did do RM and also Bel Ami will definitly say to everyone: “I'm not Edward Cullen” I am Robert Pattinson an actor who wants more mature roles and that is awesome and yes I also agree that people do need to start looking at him this way or yeah they will be in shock when they see Bel Ami and I hope Bel Ami is “R”rated:) I am proud of him he has come along way in the last 2 years:)

I completely agree. And, I actually would love to see him be the next James Bond. I think he'd be perfect. He has that whole serious, grubby in a sophisticated way (if that makes sence) way about him, plus that underlying humor that he has. I think the people that don't like it are the ones who have a hard time distinguishing between Rob and Edward. I think it was great, the interview and the pictures. I do think this photo shoot borders on porn. The way to say you are a serious adult actor is not posing with naked models. The photo content is not much different than the shoot with Adam Lambert.

But put the photos aside for now the article does add credit to the fact that Rob is gay….Nothing wrong with being gay, he should be honest and proud about the fact. The studio keeps pushing him as the romantic male lead. It is getting harder and harder to buy.

The girls still thinking about Rob in a romantic way need to wake up and smell the coffee. Enjoy his acting, but that is all it is acting. I think his greatest role so far has been the one he performs off screen for his female fans.

If we really care about Rob we should let him feel secure enough to be honest and love who he wants without fear of backlash.

Where does it say he's gay? Are you referring to that line from your other post? I can't say one way or another, but if you listen to Rob in interviews he LOVES to joke around. Just listen to the commentary for Twilight. To each his own, but until he comes out and says it for seriousness I'll think neutral.

Who knows for sure what Rob really meant about 'vaginas'…he was on, what, beer #3…or 4? Maybe he's saying he's a “BUTT” or “BOOB” kind of guy? And maybe he's just throwing “RAMDOM” stuff out there like he usually does. Which is hilarious, because after a while we're like…is he serious? Then he laughs, and we're like…ok, he's not. Then he says something opposite, and we're like…maybe he was serious? Finally ending with…oh, who the hell cares! The man is just mysteriously funny. Keeping people guessing. Why? I'm torn on this photoshoot…
I think it's stupid to have only the girls naked. To me it just looks cheesy. And…I don't care about seeing these girls boobs! For those of us who love Rob, I think more skin from Rob would have helped. But, whatcha gonna do???
Artful or not, it's 'boobs' staring at me from the pages, let's be real…and I'm not into that. The lingerie and covered up ones are nice. At least they gave us some of those…lol

And Rob looks non-interested. Although, I'm sure he was intensly interested…I'm mean, seriously, the man knew exactly what kind of shoot he was getting into. Or, maybe he wanted to portray that he wasn't interested for fun? Who know…who cares. Rob looks wonderful, and I just cover up the 'boobs' with my hand so all is well. lol :O)

I don't think he needs to change his image to shady do anything for a movie career. If this is to get more male fans he would do better to be in an action film. You have to stand for something or you'll fall for anything. I think lots of ppl see him in a different light now. Not so flattering.
