Did you see about the producer (was it Wyck Gofrey?) talking about Renesmee… about a shrinking an adult..or CGI.. maybe both? On my third reading of BD.. and finally feeling ok with Renesmee.. I was hesitant, very hesitatant..

Ron Howard is a good director but eh not good at doing book to film. The Davinic Code fans not happy with this man.

BDH had to make a quick yes or no decision. She didn't consult Ron much, mostly talked to her team and her husband. She got in the best shape of her life. She loved the role and was graciously accepted by the cast. Ron says you never know when a phenom like this will occur and the only sure thing these days is Jim Cameron.

There! I just gave you three minutes of your life by not having to listen to, “well umm, you know, I just uh………….”

I really like Ron Howard He seems like such a genuinely nice guy. Right along the same lines as Chris Weitz.

I think if he wanted to do Breaking Dawn he would do a fine job. He does well with fantasy. I loved Willow and Cocoon. Parenthood , although not a fantasy, has always been one of my favorite movies–it shows what parenthood is really like, from different perspectives, in a comedic way…classic!

I gained more respect and understanding of the movie Parenthood after I had my son. I remember watching that movie when I was a kid and laughing.

I have theorized before to friends when BDH was cast as Victoria that I felt like maybe it was an attempt to woo Ron Howard into directing Breaking Dawn. I would LOVE it actually! I think he's great!

oh I agree Ron Howard is a really nice man and I was a fan of Happy Days along time ago so yeah he is really a nice person and he is an awesome director I loved The Davinci Code and also Angels and Demons those were good and also I loved Mermaid and yes Cocoon was really good too:)

He would be an interesting choice. He usually does movies with his own production company that he develops himself. It might be complicated having him fit Breaking Dawn into his schedule and making it his way. For one thing, he is used to more generous budgets than Summit allows; they are rather skimpy. He would have some great CGI and music contacts–actually, I think he has a great network of experts available. He has an knack fir a good story too.

I dont care the circumstances… she is not Victoria and never will be!! There is only one true Victoria and Im sure there are lots of fans who agree with me!! Ron Howard is an amazing director and actor but that doesnt make his daughter acceptable in this role. Also that interviewer is the worst interviewer ever!!
