The owner of an RV dealership sued by Taylor Lautner over a customized vehicle challenged the ” Twilight ” star Monday to use his muscles instead of his lawyers to resolve the case.Brent McMahon, who owns McMahon’s RV in Irvine, Calif., offered to compete in a push-up contest to settle the breach of contract lawsuit that Lautner filed Aug. 23 claiming the dealership failed to deliver a $300,000 RV on time for use as a dressing room on the set of the actor’s latest film.

McMahon and his attorney denied wrongdoing and said they will vigorously defend the case in court if Lautner, 18, doesn’t accept the challenge.

The dealership said Lautner’s camp had sought a $40,000 settlement to resolve the case, leading to the unorthodox proposal by McMahon. The 47-year-old businessman said if he won the contest, he would donate the settlement money to Children’s Hospital of Orange County .

Lautner’s attorney Robert Barta declined comment, citing the pending lawsuit.

Lautner’s lawsuit claimed McMahon’s failed to complete the customized RV on time, and it needed additional work after it was delivered.

It was unclear what upgrades Lautner sought. McMahon said the vehicle was given a custom paint job.

Lautner gained fame for his role as Jacob Black in the ” Twilight ” movie series. He is currently filming “Abduction” and will reprise his role as Black in the two-part ” Twilight ” finale.

Seriously? SERIOUSLY?  *rolls eyes to the back of my head*  This RV guy is unbelievable.

Comment below!  I can’t wait to read them!

Gossip Cop confirms after the break.

Taylor Lautner’s breach of contract lawsuit, stemming from an undelivered trailer, may not be resolved by a judge or jury.

It could all come down to a push-up competition instead.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Last week Lautner sued McMahon’s RV after the company failed to deliver a promised $300,000 trailer the actor was going to use as a dressing room during his Abduction filming.

According to the suit, Lautner didn’t receive the trailer by the agreed upon date, and on the grounds of “emotional distress,” the Twilight star is seeking $40,000 in damages.

But the RV company’s owner, Brent McMahon, is roaring back – or perhaps pushing back – with the suggestion that he and Lautner settle the issue through a push-up contest.

Again, you read that correctly.

McMahon has vowed that should he win, the money would go to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.

Lautner’s lawyer has not commented since the lawsuit is still pending.

An attorney for McMahon has denied any wrongdoing and promised to defend the company in court, should Lautner decline the challenge.

ooooohhh man helll nooo…..i wonder if someone is trying to get their RV company some publicity??? i cant seem to think of any other reason someone would do such a stupid thing. hes just obnoxious and trying to make taylor look bad just stop

I would like to think that it is not about the money. If the Lautner Team win the lawsuit, I hope THEY donate it to charity. They sure as heck don’t need a $40,000 check.

  • Anonymous

    woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.
Great way to run a business. Now it makes sense why taylor didnt get the RV on time….. the company is run by COMPLETE IDIOTS!

  • Murkypuddle92

I hope the RV guy wins. Charity is always a good thing, Lautner has enough money as it is. Hopefully if Taylor does accept and win, he gives the money to charity anyways.

  • TaycobIsSuperSmexy

I Know Right! If that guy is looking for publicity, he is really going about it the wrong way entirely. All he is doing is trying to use a famous celebrity to get attention for himself, but he is just making himself look like a total fool.
You bet he is going to feel the wrath of Taylor fans LOL!

  • TaycobIsSuperSmexy

Absolutely! I couldn’t believe this story when I first heard about it, I was thinking this has got to be a joke. This guy clearly doesn’t take anything seriously and needs to grow up, what a stupid business man he is. I hope that he goes out of business too, now that he has been exposed as a fool. He can definitely learn from Taylor how to handle himself with dignity and have some sensibility.

  • TaycobIsSuperSmexy

Yeah! Taylor sure knows better than that sad excuse for a business
man. I hope Taylor gets the justice that he deserves and that the RV
guy will go out of business. He hasn’t done himself any favors with
his stupidity, now it’s for everyone to see exactly what kind of
    business he is running.

  • tpec1991

    ok.. ehm… WHAT???
    he is stupid!!

  • Anonymous

Man if this guy has any dignity he will back out and pay up!

  • http://www.fanfiction.com/~youroasis Nutty for Taylor’s MCNutters

no he’s trying to ruin his image. cos if he says no, the media will be like: omg he just denied a charitable opportunity. and if he does do it and wins taking the money with him, he’ll look like scrooge. basically he’s trying to deflect the real issue at hand and not take any responsibility for what happened. -.-) and he’s 47!

just cos he’s rich and famous i bet they think they could’ve ripped him off. i bet they do that to other customers all the time.

  • http://www.fanfiction.com/~youroasis Nutty for Taylor’s MCNutters

like taylor has time for this sh*t anyway! he’s busay.

the papers are on the internet now for all to see. google it.

“The lawsuit’s main complaint was the safety issues making it unsafe to drive and the missed guaranteed delivery date. He also mentioned the total unprofessional behavior of the owner, employees and dealer in responding prior to filing of the lawsuit.”

  • http://www.fanfiction.com/~youroasis Nutty for Taylor’s MCNutters

    pretty much. LOL

  • TaycobIsSuperSmexy

I Know, it’s ridiculous isn’t it?! Anyone who has a brain can see through this shady as hell person. I hope he pays for all the trouble he caused Taylor. It’s like Taylor has his first taste of controversy, this is what it’s like for celebrities, people take any opportunity to rip them off. I’m sure that Taylor has learned something from this and to be careful in the future.

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/Dreamrgal DrmrzCrzyWorld

    lmao..you got that right!

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/Dreamrgal DrmrzCrzyWorld

He’s literally opened the gates to Hell…lol

And ofcourse Taylor would not accept such a ridiculous “challenge” .He’s faaar too mature to fall for this. :)

A spoiled kid? If you paid over $300,000 for a 2006 Model RV and had a contract for it to be delivered by a certain date, but it was delivered 2 months late with numerous mechanical and safety issues making it undriveable and your numerous attempts to deal with the matter outside of court got you absolutely no where would you just walk away saying “oh well”? I certainly wouldn’t and I don’t think Taylor should have to just because he’s a wealthy actor!

Taylor’s lawyer has already said any money from the lawsuit would be donated to charity. This is a matter of principle and not allowing someone to keep screwing people over as this dealership has clearly been doing to many people since they already have 57 complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau, need I say more?
