I agree with the others, though- it's not just that they added or took away a scene- it's that the scene is out of character for both Edward and Bella. It's sad that, even with such a huge fan base, they cannot try a little harder to keep the intergrity of the book.

I was so mad when Bella got on Jacobs bike…..
Like WTF she would never do that! And Edward would find a way to stop them before they made the border.

I think it is possible that Bella would have taken off with Jacob. Remember how furious she was with Edward when she found out that he was hiding information from her, and how much she missed Jacob, and longed for his company. I think this motorcycle “fiasco” brings all that out into the open, in one quick scene. Sure it doesn't follow the book, but it brings out the feelings that are intertwined into the book.

I dislike this clip with all my heart
It just leads the story the wrong way..This isn't supposed to happen.

After this scene Bella better pay up to Edward and it better not be just “I'm sorry”.
Because this clip shows she'd chose Jacob over Edward.Which is not the way it goes in the book.
Rosenburg you better have aded a danm good justification in your script for Bella.

Just thought I would say that little blog just made it worse for me, because now I know that they screwed up the motorcycle scene, AND the scene when she leaves Jacob. She breaks down in the book for a reason and if you are going to put it in the movie at all DO IT RIGHT!! Its not even realistic that she would just climb on the back of Jacob's bike in front of him at that time. Like is said Edward would have her off that bike before the border and everyone knows that when it comes to her safety he's more than willing to make her mad.

In the book, she was scared and broke down before she was angry about him lying. I would liked to have seen her break down and Edward comfort her, that's one of the elements of the book. Edwards fierce need to protect her has literally been the theme in ALL of the books, and if you are going to do an adaptation of the book then at least keep the theme.

Totally agree..If they tried to put everything that was in book into movie they would b lot longer than 2 hrs long. I get lil disappointed when i dont c certain scenes from book into movie but still luv the movies. We all know we will c movie regardless…lol Only 23 more days!!!

OMFE. I cannot even explain the emotions that are pumping throughout my body right now… I understand the whole “It can't always be like the book” but c'mon! Like Bella would SERIOUSLY jump of Jake's motorcycle IN FRONT of Edward. Poor, poor Edward. I couldn't even watch it, becuase it made me sick. There's moments in the book when Bella's a brat, but she'd never do this. This crosses the line.

You know, anyone else get the feeling that MR likes Jake more then she does Eddie? Shouldn't we have someone a little less bias write the script? I mean, after all, Bella ends up with Edward so, let's keep it on track, shall we? With the whole “In the end, I end up with Edward, so I wouldn't slap him in the face like this and jump on behind Jacob” It vexes me so. Ughhhhh

Crossing fingers that all will be well. A movie made from a book never fully follows along with the book. So let's just take a breath and wait. We will not know how the movie turns out till the 30th.

:3 lol, i know that when a book becomes a movie it always differs, but I couldn't help the frustration I felt when Bella jumped on Jacobs bike XD I was about to cry. Gawsh. I'm just like so crazy about Twilight. My mom was watching with me & she was like: <_< wth is wrong with you. But it's all good now. I'm pretty sure Eclipse will be a great movie when it comes out (:

I, like most fans on here it seems, was disappointed in the clip and i was upset that i was disappointed but I guess we all should have seen this coming, they were going to change it.

Sometimes movie makers can't combine two parts of the book into one scene, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. this didn't happen to because this made Bella look like a bad person. Bella seems to always choose Edward over Jacob in the series, in the book, Bella says “Just leave before you get in trouble Jacob” and Edward ends up explaining. this time Bella's mad at Edward and leaves, THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN.

But i guess i should have saw that coming tbh, lets hope the movie isn't like this :/ I hope it isn't. However, the trailers did blow me away so i hope the movie still does as well and it should

I was not encouraged by this clip… the acting was TERRIBLE! Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan, but not a blind fan. I really hope this isn't a sign of how Eclipse will be in terms of the actual ACTING
