The Cullen’s Reveal their Favorite Eclipse Scenes!

MTV.com has new interviews from some of our favorite Cullen’s: Peter Facinelli (aka Carlisle Cullen), Ashley Greene (aka Alice Cullen), Kellan Lutz (aka Emmett Cullen), and Nikki Reed (aka Rosalie Hale).

They all tell MTV what their favorite Eclipse scenes are -

‘Eclipse’ is my favorite book, so I’m actually really excited for people to see that one,” Peter Facinelli, who plays Carlisle Cullen, told MTV News. “The Cullens get to roll up their sleeves and really get into the mix of things. They’re usually so restrained all the time, and I think people love the ['Twilight'] baseball scene because you got to see them actually do what they can do as vampires, and in ‘Eclipse’ it’s that to the 10th power. You get to see them be what they can be as vampires.”Fellow Cullen Ashley Greene is also keen on displaying Alice Cullen’s skills. “I’m really excited to see my fight sequence,” she said. “There’s some playful moments between Jasper and Alice that I’d like to see. They take parts of your character and put it into your fight sequence, so mine’s kind of a Cirque du Soleil-ish sequence, so I want to see it.”

Kellan Lutz looks forward to seeing the results of his hard work preparing to send Emmet into battle. “We went through the six weeks of fight training … and they trained us so well that we just dominated our choreography moves,” he shared. “And they’re going to look really cool.”

But while everyone seems excited to duke it out, Nikki Reed is most looking forward to sharing Rosalie’s tragic backstory. “Well, Jackson [Rathbone] and I, we both had the opportunity to shoot our backstory, so I shot an entire sequence in the 1930s,” she explained. “And it’s intercut between a really amazing scene and moment that I have with Bella. And Jackson sort of did the same. I think the fans will like that. I think they want to see the Cullens’ history. It gives me the opportunity to explain myself.”

Holy Eclipse news day! lol We’ve had tons of updates I’m totally looking forward to Eclipse. But could someone PLEASE have the leg hitch scene as their favorite?! That way we know for sure it was filmed!

Yea and could someone PLEASE say “OMG Rob's sappy acting in Eclipse was just as good if not better than it was in New Moon.” Because, seriously people, I was floored in New Moon. SOOOO much better than Twilight. The reconciliation scene(s) were better than I was hoping for So, yea, Rob + David + MR: you all have some work to do bringing that magic back for Eclipse!!!

I loved Rosalie's and Jasper's backstory's in the book..can't wait to see it in the movie…I've never been this excited about movies before…My heart flips everytime I hear Twilight..New Moon….Eclipse…ooooooh and Breaking Dawn..i'm so pumped for that one!!!!

I loved the fact that CW used it! Even though it was subtle the twang was unmistakable!!

LOL maybe in Eclipse. Tay's acting was soo corny during certain parts, but definitely better than I expected it to be. I think he'll be able to pull off angry Jacob in Eclipse soo well! “You stay the hell out of my head!”

As a hardcore wolf girl (I am sure you know how hardcore!!) I found Tay's acting awesome – Boy broke my heart and I was *this* close to be thrown out of theater coz of my shouting all abuses at Bella…

But yeah we will have to wait and see how Eclipse turns out!

LOL. *blushes*… Well at the midnight premiere they had a little [HUGE] problem with the audio. We couldn't hear what they were saying! People were pretty angry, while we waited they were discussing their teams. And this man says…'How about Team Monologue'…LOL… I loved it.. so there it is.. Team Monologue!…haha

Yea he did do an excellent job. I guess I just didn't like the line delivery in “You want me to put you in the hospital?” because I was laughing during that part. Other than that, however, I thought he did a good job. He handled the intense scenes pretty well, especially right before Italy and after Italy.

Yea after the movie came out I wanted to stay away from all the negative criticism because I really really liked the movie (Catherine Hardwicke should be ashamed because New Moon was 10000000X better IMO) and I didn't want anyone ruining my New Moon buzz

you know… sometimes I feel bad for CH that she has to endure all these criticisms when she had limited funds etc. But then I go and watch Twilight again and all the “benefit of doubt” goes to back of my head.

Some things in Twilight are awesome! Humans, their dialogues, Cullens' dressing style etc but the other things are best forgotten!

I also can't wait to see the Cullen's fighting. There's never enough Cullens!

I'll probably reread Eclipse at least twice before it comes out in theaters.

I think she could have done better even with limited money. There were quite a few scenes that deviated, which would have been fine if they put the scenes in that were actually from the book. But they left out much more than they should have in an adaptation (some of the romance between Edward/Bella, the Carlisle/Esme/Alice backstories, etc). It's probably more MR's fault than anyone, but CW stepped in and changed MR's script in certain places and said “No this needs to be done this way” whereas CH had her own ideas and decided to make Twilight “her own way.” Thankfully Twilight was my least favorite book so I no longer care New Moon was my 3rd favorite book but the movie was great! Eclipse has big shoes to fill.

Yep it's true we will have the Runaways, and Remember Me to keep us interested until Eclipse, which begs the question will the trailer for Eclipse come attach with Remember Me?

so I was just about to go to nmm.org and post that all the New Moon stuff lately has made me really want to Eclipse again and that maybe next week after Thanksgiving I was going to do that…….. and then I come here and see we have a bazillion new Eclipse posts! yeah! so glad to see the Twilight news or fans haven't slowed down even after opening weekend is over.

I LOVE Eclipse… theres SO much action in that one.. we get to see our Cullens get down and dirty kicking some newborns a**!! Woot woot.. New Moon showed the Wolves getting down now we'll have our vamps.. woooohoo!!

Ahhhh Alice and Jasper playful moments?!? Eeekk I know that will be when Jasper is teaching them how to fight newborns (hehe) and Alice's turn comes up and she jumps on his back at the end.. lol so cute!! I LOVE her!
