Whoever is at fault, the movie was not as good as it could have been without her. And, I can’t help but wonder what Warner Bros. would have done if they had the same scheduling problem with one of the principal actors in the Harry Potter film franchize. That said, movie companies are businesses and stand to lose money if they do not honor film and travel schedules. It appears as though Ms. LeFevre’s representatives, who are supposed to look out for their client’s interests, might have been asleep at the wheel to have let this happen

If this happend to any other cast-members like Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart, then the company would work around the 10 day over-lap and give the actor a chance.

Summit didn't do that and instead replaced her for a stupid reason, 10 days is nothing! especially for a big, villainous role of Victoria. I think they simply replaced Rachelle for a bigger name like Bryce Dallas Howard, to attract more attention. Nothing else.

HUGE mistake replacing Rachelle for Bryce, extremely disappointing I truly felt Victorias (RACHELLE) anger and pain in Twilight and New Moon felt NOTHING looking at Bryce as Victoria. Thanks a lot SUMMIT for wrecking the big moment between Edward and Victoria

I have sat quietly through out all the name calling and dust flying just to see how fair it would take us. Sadly we ran in circles and did a lot of name calling but seemed to lose sight of what the real concern was as well as what we were truly arguing about. The issue at hand is was Rachelle Lefevre treated fairly by Summit when they let her go or was there some underhandedness going on and finally was there something that could have been do to keep her in EClipse as opposed to replacing her with Dallas Bryce Howard.
In the absolutely obvious sort of way we have grown to love/hate Rachelle because it is through her we watched our beloved villain come to life. She has made Victoria so real and brought her to life when DBH has done nothing more that picked up the well laid ground word RL has laid down. So of course we, true Twilight fans, are gong to be extremely upset that Summit has actually replaced a beloved component in our story.

I personal think that Summit could have done a million things to accommodate Ms. Lefevre's schedule and while they were willing to do it for some they,sadly aren't willing to do it for all. Summit is an inconsistent company that doesn't seem to have deserved the right to maintain the rights to the Twilight saga and there for huge mistakes were made, such as letting Lefevre go, the dispute of pay between Lutz, and Greene, and a few other issues. But we as truly fans will go on to watch the last 3 movies, just missing Ms. Lefevre and her wonderful role more than imaginable. (Yes I now this is the last movie she is in but you get my point)
As for the troll that hang around here to do nothing more than upset us. They are on every site and the best way to get them to go is to simply provide them with NO energy. They actually feed off our anger so it is easier to to just pretend like their destructive comments aren't around. I have had to learn this hard way. So while they are sitting at home typing “fake and gay” we are gaining friendships and companionships with other readers that share our love. Just don't answer them, they will get bored and move on. Just try not to feed the animals when they stop in and hopfully they will travel elsewhere to cause problems!

im extremely late, but, this is BULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
summit is STUPID. point blank! they shouldve thought of the FANS, not on scheduling crap, not of time, not on whos fault it was. whos ever fault it was doesn't matter. they NEEDED to work things out and KEPT Rachelle with AT LEAST A WARNING!!!!!! i mean, COME ON!!!!!! this woulda been her last part in the saga anyway! they might as well have changed ALL the cast if they were going to change ONE. it was a horrible decision. and now Eclipse isnt going to be the same without Rachelle. and sure, Bryce might be good in the movie, and maybe good for the part, but NEVER, EVER as GREAT as Rachelle. we all have Rachelle's face and image set for Victoria. its like shes not even known as Rachelle anymore. shes Victoria now. Bryce will NEVER be known as Victoria but as the one who TOOK Victoria's place! sorry Bryce, but its true. i saw the Ecplise trailer and waited to see THE Victoria on the screen, but made me mad to see it wasnt her. i dont think Victoria suddenly becomes another face in the book, another figure. shouldn't have happened in the movie (in the VISUAL part) either.

i know i'm EXTREMELY late on this, but i had to let all of this out…

Eclipse ws my favorite book as well and I just totally agree with everything you said. I hate it when they change one of the main people, just because you become so accustomed to them and in your mind that original person will always be that character.

She should have notified Summit about it sooner and 10 days is a long time when they’re doing scenes especially when your supposed to be in them. She let me down. But its not like replacing Edward or Jacob so I’m good. I hope she has fun in that other movie-_-
