I totally agree with what you're saying. Taylor is a young man that teens, both guys and girls alike, can look up to. I am so proud of him for that.
That being said, he used to be more fun and goofy when he did his interviews before New Moon. Now he does seem quite a bit guarded. I think he may be having a hard time dealing with the paps getting into his private life, so he now watches what he says very carefully.
I think this all started after his 3 months with Swifty.
After the media was saying “oh, she broke up with him, he's not old enough for her, blah, blah, blah”, he has been not as open in interviews.
I think he might have really liked her, but since the press was in their faces every second of every day and they are both soo busy, they had to call it quits.
