Finally! After all the emails, the complaining, and suffering, its here! Summit Entertainment tweeted earlier today Twilight Saga:Eclipse trailer will be shown during the upcoming Robert Pattinson film Remember Me, which hits theaters on March 12th!

Ok..don't laugh at me but I totally had a “Bella on her bday getting attacked by Jasper” moment a few minutes ago! I cut my finger when I was pressing a gum out of it's wrapper. It's the same finger Bella cut herself on too. And I really can't deal with blood. And there was a LOT of blood so I was getting a little woozy. I was seriously looking around for Jasper to jump me..LOL It still hurts btw *sad eyes*
And I bought a german magazine which contains a poster of Bella and Edward french kissing in the meadow:)

I don’t understand you guy. If a trailer wasn’t being released, you’d whinge. Now there will be a trailer, and you guys are still moaning. Why not just be grateful? The chances are, people who want to see the Eclipse trailer are going to want to see Remember Me anyway, just because Robs in it.

I couldn’t care less if the Eclipse trailer is shown before RM or not. I’m just grateful their releasing one. I’m sure Rob won’t care either way.

Twilight Eclipse Trailer to Debut Online?

Summit Entertainment has taken to Twitter again to dish out news regarding the first appearance of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse trailer.
Earlier this week Summit confirmed via Twitter that the first trailer for Eclipse would appear in front of Remember Me, a film they are distributing that stars Robert Pattinson. It was assumed this would be when the trailer would appear.

Now Summit is teasing the trailer will appear earlier in the week with the “when” and “where” to be announced. Presumably the trailer will debut online and, if so, we’ll quickly share it with all of you.

I also read in another site that it may be shown during the Academy Awards March 7 Summit did not confirm that. but thats a few days before RM comes out And Summit is not saying where and when it is going to come out so it may not be online. I don t watch the academy awards but i will definitely be watching it this time around.

well firstly its my least fave book cos the big 3 are terribly annoying and mature in it. i wanted to smash the book at the wall at first reading. took me MONTHS to get back into it. lol. but mostly, cos my jacob gets his heart broken and im not looking forward to seeing that.

im excited to see how david slade made it visually and the actors' portrayals of it all and what scenes they included from the book. but its not like new moon with me. new moon is my fave book or is it BD? i dont know. i think BD is lol. their close.

I've read through several comments and I agree whole-heartedly with you and a good majority of those who've replied/posted… It was a good marketing move on Summit's part to show the Eclipse trailer @ Remember Me. I do not think it was necessary however. I know dozens of people that wanted to see Remember Me, and they aren't even “Twilight” fans… That says A LOT about their marketing move right..? And Rob got completely screwed in that deal, I love the Twilight Saga (movie&book both), but I also love the actors/actresses just because they do an incredible job! I would like to see what else they are capable of. I'd love to see them succeed at something non-Twilight. Granted, a good amount of Twi-hards will watch a number of movies coming out ONLY because of the saga, but what about the non-Twi-hards? It would be nice to see these actors/actresses get some real recognition outside of what origonally blasted them into super-stardom… Twilight won't last forever, the movies are coming to an end… I would like to see their carreers continue fruifully after this craze… It saddens me to think that Summit not only pulled this move, but how about the wait for any kind of decision or information on Breaking Dawn? That movie will be the biggest movie (or movies) of the series in my opinion… Let alone the wait till they film, they wait till the trailer, then the wait till we see it!! And face it ladies and gents, this will be the one (or two) movies that will take the longest to film… Summit could've done so much better with this if you ask me..
