How fabulous are these stills of our wonderful Cullen family!

As you can see, these photos show us how much they have evolved from Twilight to New Moon to Eclipse.

I think everyone looked better in Twilight. Jasper’s hair was perfect! Rosalie was stunning. Emmett is the only Cullen that has stayed true in all 3 films, and I love it. Did anyone notice Esme’s hair in Eclipse? Her hair is almost as dark as Alice!

I have a feeling these shots will spark the ‘Jasper Hale & Rosalie Hale hair debate’. What are your thoughts on all three looks? Love it or hate it?

I think Rosalie has got better with every film, I hated her hair and general look in the first one. I think Esme looked best in Twilight, Alice and Emmett looked best in New Moon, and Jasper and Carlisle have looked fine in all three. Don't know about Edward, I just love him in general, haha.

I really didn't like Rosalie's hair in twilight. I guess I just never pictured Rosalie with black root growth. I think twilight got the style right but NM got the colour right and eclipse has put the two together. She looks stunning in the new still.
Even though Elizabeth's hair is the wrong colour I think it looks better than any wig they could have put on her (Judging by the wig standard thus far). And as much as I don't like Jasper's new hair, it looks more 'civil war' than it did in the other two.
Edward needs his twilight hair back, it's too flat in NM and eclipse. It just looks like Rob's skipped hair and make-up and gone straight to set. Not that that's a bad thing, but it just doesn't look right. Emmett looks the same and Carlisle seems to have aged, his hair is too light it looks a little grey.
Anyway .. I think they look better in Eclipse. xD

Actually I'm not sure about that. The hair is pretty much dead skin cells so when you're transforming, the venom can't touch it, therefore not really affecting your hair.
But I'm not completely sure on that so don't quote me. :
I like this post, lots of interesting debates. And yeah, I reckon they should've kept Esme's hair from Twilight.

I say Carlisle looks the same, so does Emmet, Jasper's hair was better in Twilight, I like Rosalie's in Eclipse well from what I've seen in the pics and the behind the scenes, Alice's hair was better in Twilight but it wasn't bad in NM either, I liked Esme's hair in Twilight…I will also add that Bella's hair in Eclipse looks horrible I know its a wig but come on they could have found a better looking wig….and Edwards hair was better in Twilight, but he could have short hair and it wouldn't matter to me I love that man..lol…

Ok…Think Rosalie's hair look really nice this time around…way better than New Moon.
Jasper went from “nice-looking” to “grand-pa” and now “girly-like”. But i love Jasper/Jackson to death so i can live with it….not even a bag over his head can spoil it for me

Yeah. But Jackson cropped his hair to match a warriors ponytial for The Last Airbender movie. He wanted to live as the character Sokka. So now Twilight has to pay for it.
Though I love his heart for acting.

Jasper is obviously played by Jackson Rathbone, and he just did the Last Airbender movie and he had buzzed his hair into a morph for his characters warrior ponytial and that's the main reason why he needs the wigs. I wish he wouldn't have done that for Twilight's sake. Now Jazz has to turn form perfest in Twilight to goldilocks in Eclipse.
I agree also that they had no right to change Esme's color. It was perfect in Twilight.
Almost everything was perfect in Twilight except for the makeup and order of the going'ons and of course… the out richous kiss that was rediculous!! I'm still mad at that.

Here's the biggest problem with Jasper's hair, it's longer!! Vampire hair cannot grow, they are dead. His hair should have stayed the way it was in Twilight.

As far as Esme, she can still dye her hair whatever color of the rainbow she wants it.

The rest, they didn't change enough to care about.

Yeah, but the vampires are described as being “frozen in time” exactly as they were when they first changed its the reason the females can't get pregnant and why Esme's hair is described as having almost sort of Veronica Lake style waves befitting the time she was turned and Alice's hair is a pixie cut because when she was turned she was in a mental hospital and back then they would chop off the patients hair like that.

i've noticed also and i don't like it…but mostly because jasper is a vampire and we know that vampires don't change…so isn't it logical that their hair also stays the same…not growing…idk….i liked jasper in twilight better

Well at least he did not go all out for his own gratification like our lovely Buzzy Rob before he had to start his debute for NM. Though I looooove Buzzy Rob. Scrumptious love joy. Ah Jackie Jackie now you have to result to a bad wig!!! WHYYYY? Well they can let him wear ponytail in BD. LOL I think the Twicast are going balls out on their other films for the part. Hmph take that Twi hair stylists!

I think that all there hair looked the best in Twilight! I don't know if they had a different wardrobe and hair department ( I am assuming they did b/c of filming in Vancouver instead of Forks). I really wish they would go back to there hair from Twilight. Jasper's hair scared me in New Moon. Alice's hair is ehh in NM and Eclipse, but with her real hair it actually moved, and her clothes in New Moon made her look frumpy and she is not! I agree Emmett has stayed the same all through out. YEAH W.T about Esme's darker hair! It never changed or had any saying that it did in the books. I think when they use wigs it takes out the movement and real effect. Carlsile's hair didn't move either in New Moon. I saw use there own hair! It's hair, you can dye it back, grow it back out, put in extensions etc..

I think that everyone has looked good in all three movies except for Rosalie and Jasper. Regarding the time Jasper is from he is supposed to have hair that looks like what he has in Eclipse and it is the best hair he's gotten so far. He looked TERRIBLE in Twilight, except for the baseball scene and in New Moon it was also awful. Rosalies hair was not beautiful in Twilight, it looked better in New Moon but it looks the most natural in Eclipse… so all in all… I'm ALL FOR ECLIPSE! Finally they have gotten it right!! Yey!

It's just so frustrating because Jackson was so gorgeous in Twilight and they could easily have patched over his shaved patches, instead of putting him in a ridiculous woman's wig! Ah well, we will just have to grin and bear it at this stage eh?

I don't think they'll ever get Jasper's wig right again. His hair was good in Twilight, but I'm very disappointed in the other two movies. Very disappointed.

Alright. Hair issues abound!

1) Jasper hair was a little spooky in Twilght but I got used to it and eventually liked it. NM was simply (GAH!!!) disasterous, no excuse for treating such a hot man that way. How rude. In Eclipse……well it's better than NM but I'll wait to see more before I decide if it's more acceptable than Twilight.

2) Rosalie hair in Twilight was passable at best. It always went from smooth curl to humidity frizzed waves and the roots!!! (I know not her fault, but it made for ugly filming). NM it was much better but not a great quality wig. So far, even with just the small glimpse, her Eclipse hair is great!

3) Esme hair in Twilight was good. NM it was perfect and Eclipse it is waaaay to dark.

4) Victoria has was the wrong color in Twilight and perfect in NM. I have a feeling in Eclipse it's gonna look all wrong because as great as Bryce is, she is just not Victoria.

Edward hair, Alice hair, Carlisle hair and Emmett hair all seem to be more consistant. Although of those 4, I prefer Edward hair in Twilight. It had the true bronze color.

When it comes to color and Esme's hair, it might not actually be that dark. With hair that color it can seem to be a whole lot of colors. . .Because my hair is that lightish brown that it changed to. I'm hoping it was just the lighting, but still, it looks okay.

Here's my opinion: Rosalie looked very Rosalie-esque in Twilight. Everyone looked like their character should in the Twilight movie. But in the promo, I thought they looked to dark and gloomy, haha. In New Moon, I thought Rosalie's hair looked kind of fake (the wig) and the Cullens definitely looked more vampire-y, when in Twilight they looked more like humans (I remember the book describes them as so extremely beautiful, inhuman beauty) and I thought they fit that pretty well. Rob looked good as Edward in Twilight, but I thought he looked slightly too old in NM for a 17-year-old boy. And in the Eclipse poster, I thought his hair was WAY too flat, and he was way too pale, almost sickly. The Cullens' skin tone is described as a smooth marble white, they aren't supposed to look washed out or sickly, the pale tone is supposed to look beautiful on their face. Esme's hair in Twilight was good, the color and the waves, because in the book it describes her hair as caramel and wavy. In New Moon, her color was still caramel, but it was straight. In Eclipse, her hair is curlier and looks as dark as Alice's hair. But I think that's her natural hair color, but if you watch the sneak peek of eclipse, there is a shot of Esme and Carlisle and her hair is wavy and caramel, yet in this picture it is brunette. Alice's hair was definitely the best in Twilight, as was Jasper's hair. Carlisle look was good in each movie. But yeah, I definitely noticed that their look is changed in each movie. I guess it depends on the costume designer, makeup artist, and director. But I thought all of them looked good in the New Moon promo shoot. Emmett looks great in each movie. In the Twilight promo shoot, I thought some of them looked too dark and gloomy (because in the Twilight promo shoot, they cast shadows over their faces and because of their expressions) and in eclipse, they are definitely way paler. But I guess we'll just have to wait till the movie to see some more.

I agree that the hairdos were better in Twilight — with the exception of Edward's, that is just perfect now.
I think Kris's long sexy mane make Bella look too mature for a 18-year-old.

in my opinion jaspers hair looked a little too wild in parts of twilight & just a tad scary, i think it got better in new moon but then to me looked kinda like giving your little brother his sunday best. in eclipse his hair reminds me of something out of shakespear time which her wasnt around for. I didnt like Rosalies's hair in twilight with her dark roots & wanna by platinum but i liked in new moon except that it looked a bit billowy never the less better.

Yeah, the dark hair bothered me too… BUT the really weird thing is, in the Eclipse graduation scene, her hair looks light again… caramel colored.
