The Runways–for which Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Kristen Stewart cut her hair prior to filming Eclipse, much to the dismay of the studio and the resulting wig in Eclipse–has been released a full week early on iTunes.
I’m not sure if it’s a slip-up or not, but you can now buy it for $14.99 on iTunes a full week before its official July 20th release date.

Overall it received mildy favorable reviews, with a 70% rating from Rotten Tomatoes. Roger Moore from the Orlando Sentinel praises it–

A well-acted and vivid re-creation of a dark, downbeat era when “girls don’t play electric guitar,” and you had to be someone pretty tough and pretty special to try it.

Pre-order the DVD and Blu-Ray if you like your movies the phsyical way like me.

    OMG OMG i FINALLY was able to see The Runaways Last night.. omg omg omg thank GOD cuz i couldnt wait anymore.. and god it was freaking awesome.. i f***ng love it… wow it was amazing.. Kristen omg is the best.. i was speechless and i'm still am.. she did a freaking outstanding performance.. she did and excellent job interpreting Joan wow.. i cant wait to have the DVD in my hands.. i want it so bad… Kristen you are the best

    The movie finally released here in South Africa, and I went and saw it last night – and LOVED it! I was very impressed with Kris in the movie, she totally rocked Joan – it was real and gritty. Will definitly get the DVD when it comes out.

    awww it’s so much fun playing at pubs always a cool atmosphere. my mate just bought a pub, he’s opened it up to support local music in South Australia it’s a really great place and all my mates bands play there and most types of music are welcome with open arms, we have a fun little punk scene going on here it’s cool to get everyone out and supporting ya know. So I just do open mic there alot :D
