If you live in one of twelve cities, good news: Summit is putting on an official “Twilight Night” in your city on Saturday, June 26th to celebrate the Lunar Eclipse in honor of the release of the Eclipse Movie on June 30th. These events will include free outdoor showings of Twilight and New Moon for fans.
The lucky cities for Twilight Nights are: Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, St. Louis, San Diego, Seattle and Washington DC.
Moviefone will also be live-streaming from Philadelphia and San Diego.

Los Angeles, CA June 18, 2010 – In celebration of the lunar eclipse on the evening of June 26th, Summit Entertainment is inviting everyone across the nation to “TWILIGHT Night,” a 12-city event including outdoor screenings of TWILIGHT and THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON. The family and community-oriented events are the perfect chance for those new to the film franchise as well as moviegoers in general to immerse themselves in THE TWILIGHT SAGA phenomenon just in time for the highly anticipated theatrical release of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, the third installment of Summit Entertainment’s TWILIGHT SAGA film franchise, on June 30th.
The excitement of THE TWILIGHT SAGA will be delivered directly to fans in their hometowns and online with “TWILIGHT Night” special events. Moviefone will live-stream events from Philadelphia and San Diego at www.moviefone.com/twilightnight which will include interviews with cast, fan reactions, special guests and sneak peeks of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, allowing those unable to attend to still take part in the celebration. Don't feel bad… I live in the U.S. and nothing like this or any other Twilight promotional events come to Providence, RI. I only wish the cast, preferably Taylor Lautner, would come visit RI (MA, CT or somewhere close by). So if your gonna move to the states make sure you pick the right area.

I would love that. I love small European towns. I've only visited small villages in England and Russia, but I adored them both. I guess living there might be different after a while. But it's so beautiful there. So much history and lovely old architecture and a wonderful pace of life.
Oh and after BDM, there will be a new site for ongoing Stephenie Meyer projects as well as what the actors from Twilight are up to. I own an outdoor movie company in New Orleans and am doing an event similar to this one, which will be sponsored by Vitamin Water. It will be at Elmwood Kidsports and is free. I don't think they are doing much advertising…just club members and their guests, but I am really hoping it will be successful, so I thought I'd try to get the word out to those in the area.
