The newborns aren’t all “pretty” as vampires should be.

In the scene where Bella takes off on the motorcycle with Jacob, Edward’s eyes are golden. When Edward shows up at Bella’s house later that evening, they are black. His thirst wouldn’t have become so apparent so quickly.

The Cullens are watching a news report about the violence in Seattle. It is night time in the report, and the reporter says “this is CNN live.”. Cut to the Cullens watching the newscast, and it is daylight out. Forks and Seattle are both in western Washington, it could not be night in one place and day in the other.

In the scene where Alice & Charlie are talking on the steps outside Charlie’s house, they are standing still, but in the next shot they are walking down the steps

Just after Victoria has been killed, Edward goes over to Bella to bandage the cut she made on her arm, tying the fabric around her wrist. However, when Bella cut herself, it was on the inside of her elbow, not her wrist.

In the last scene where Edward and Bella are sitting in the sunny field, Edward is not sparkling

Just like in New Moon, Bella’s scar from James biting her is on the wrong side of her arm.
When Jacob’s carrying Bella through the woods, in some shots her left sleeve is quite far over her hand, but on others it’s further back by her wrist.
The bed scene with Bella and Edward: As he says, ‘It’s just one rule I wanna leave unbroken,’ someone or something moves into shot on the right-hand side, and it’s not Bella. In the next, shot you can see from where Edward is looking that she’s not in that position.
During the scene where Riley’s parents are talking to Charley in the police department, his picture starts out on top of the file, then later they are handing it to him like he has never seen it before.
When Bella’s talking to her dad on the sofa early in the movie, watch her right ear. Sometimes there’s hair covering it, sometimes it’s clear, and sometimes there’s a chunk of hair hanging in front of it.

At various times during the movie Bella’s hair is different (she is wearing a wig due to her hair being cut for her role in “The Runways”). You can notice it from the high angle when she walks to her truck the first time she goes to see Jacob, then various times during the movie her hair seems to be darker sometimes and her hairline moves as well.

Vampires bodies are not meant to change, but Jasper’s hair is longer in Eclipse than it was in New Moon and Twilight.

When Jacob is injured by the newborn vampire in the final battle, the Cullens and the Quileutes are crouched around him. The top of Jacob’s flesh-colored body suit is quite visible at his waist; he is supposed to be nude after phasing back into human form.

Spoiler! When Victoria’s head is popped off by Edward, who has killed her, her eyes are open. Seconds later, from another angle, her eyes are closed.

After killing Victoria, Edward rips off a piece of Bella’s shirt to tie around her bleeding arm. If you look at where he rips her shirt, the seam is visible where the fabric has already been cut and loosely reattached; there is a long horizontal wrinkle where it doesn’t hang right from the rest of the shirt.

I’ve got one. During the movie they say that Riley has been missing for over a year, yet twice when they shoot a close up of the missing person poster it says he was last seen on May 21, 2010 which was just over a month before the movie came out.

So? Just cause he’d been seen doesn’t make a difference on when he actually went missing. Missing kids are spotted even after they’ve gone missing.

I also felt it was super choppy!!! I have to force my self to get through it. Which suxs! B/c I love the story so much. From what you said now I know why I didn’t feel like the movie was Eclipse! I haven’t read The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner yet. So, at least now I know where all that extra stuff came from! I was wonder why in the world they added all that extra stuff! LOL And it totally ruined it for me! If it had been little extra bits like in NM then I probably wouldn’t have minded so much. But it’s like they re-wrote the entire story! So choppy and terrible score. The movie had no feeling to it. The ONLY scenes I enjoyed were when E proposed to Bella and the tent scene… The whole rest of the time I just kept seeing all the mistakes… Slow walking/ running/ training… Practically no sparkling Edward… and so much more.
I’m so happy to see I’m not the only one that even tho there were some bits that were acceptable and true to the book, I didn’t enjoy it b/c of the choppiness/ all-over-the-place feel of it, and really have only watched to see what felt so off about it!
And yes, same here, I will buy the DVD and all… But am SOOO glad I have the books! LOL

I felt really let down too!
Agreed! If they eff up BD I’m going to boycott the movies! (well possibly! LOL)That was my fav book, so I’m very much praying that they do a good job. More than any of the others… And also bc they are the last ones! LOL
But I gotta say, if they can’t get the last two right with ppl like BC directing, DZ casting, and SM finally producing…. Then there is something very wrong with Summit! LOL
I just hope they complete it with a great composer to get the feeling right! Maybe some one like James Horner! =D

Yeay also about NM I actually saw it 3 times in the theater and tons of the bootleg… I actually haven’t bought the DVD yet… But only b/c I’ve decided to wait to BUY them all once the whole saga is through and get the full set with all the extras
But Eclipse I only saw at the premiere, and missed the first 15 minutes… planned on going to see it all the way through but never did. Then watched what I missed with a really crappy version, and just didn’t feel the want to see it again. And every time I tried to watch it again I would always get bored and stop watching it around the time the Volturri show up…
Finally yesterday I found a great copy online and watched all the way through and was again disappointed! LOL
But what ever… since it’s all that I have to watch and I can’t watch Twilight or NM anymore, cause I’ve seen it enough (which I can’t believe I’m saying!! LOL) I guess every once in a while I’ll watch it when I get in the mood to force myself to get through it to the better parts! LOL!!!

your not alone. all the wolfgirls were pissed off cos a certain vision wasnt there. personally, i was more disappointed at how boring it was and how i just didnt care. i felt nothing except when jacob talked. all the hype was for nothing in my opinion.

oh scahruuw “Mistake Lists!” I mean really? It must be painful for a person to be so OCD’d that they can’t watch a movie without picking it apart to look for mistakes…makes me wonder if they also freak out when someone puts the toilet paper roll in backwards–heh heh
IDK…it’s a movie made by some folks who read a book, and made their 3-D visual version for us, and gave it to us…like a gift–”here’s your movie, hope you like it” and then what…the gift gets torn apart rather ungratefully (in MY opinion of course) because it just wasn’t what the recipient thought it should be? hmm.
BUT I have to admit…as much as I hate Movie Mistake Lists, I can’t seem to stop myself from reading the damn things! (I still get pi$$ed when I watch the LoTR Fellowship scene with the car caught driving in the distant background–I never needed to know that was there but some NERD put it in a MML!)

The biggest misstake I think was that Edward did’nt sparkle at the end Scene. And that the newborns did’nt was so beautiful. ;D

Right i jus knew they would have Jake kidnapping her from school but NO!! & of course the vison she sees when she kisses him but NO!! My statement thru out the whole film was WTH, OMG WTH LOL!! I’m Team Jacob of course but even the Bella Edwards scenes didn’t seem right. I knew once they replaced Rachelle it was gonna be so-so but I never thought they would cut Jake out the story like they did

That’s funny!! I was such a Twi-Hard!! All Twilight all the time LOL!! but since Eclipse let me down, I’m not so much LOL!! I can’t watch any of them anymore. Maybe once it gets closer to the release date I’ll get excited again. but right now i’m cool LOL

Both the Twilight & New Moon scores were great (Twilight was better tho) lol.. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you are right, this ending is very important to us Twilighters. If you think about it they were kind of boycotted against. Alot of people didn’t see the movie 5 or 6 times, merchandise wasn’t sold as much New Moon which is why they didn’t make as much as expected with Eclipse as New Moon. I hope they think about all this before putting these movies out!!

YES!! & she missed most of the important ones. I think if they weren’t trying to rush the film I mean I could have waited to November 2010 for Eclipse. It would have been time to write the script & edited it etc instead they thru some ish 2gether & expected us to eat it. NOT COOL!! Now I’m very glad they are taking their time with BD!

F***K the mistakes!….I dont care how many mistakes there are are, I just know that this movie was the best out of the three for me..I cant tell how much I enjoyed watching it,still do =)…to finally see the real edward and bella, the romance, the love, the fight, seeing rob in those tight shirts with a v neck, yum…LOL….yeah, they shouldnt have replaced rachelle but there is nothing that we could have done about it….cant wait to see BD!

When Victorias head was ripped off he left her there and took his time, vampires have to get burned because they’ll put themselves back together! Duh, and she didn’t move, so people who didn’t read twilight wouldn’t get the whole fire thing. Plus I hated the way they choreographed bella slicing her arm! In the book it made sense, the rock cracks and a shard falls.. but in the movie she just happens to find a sharp rock covered in snow under a shrub?? It felt really.. contrived to me

Anybody else bummed with the total lack of detail? I loved the first two movies (especially twilight) because they kept enough of the little day to day scenes to make it feel real. They cut pretty much all of the fun little scenes like applying for colleges, writing announcements with angela, when she see’s edwards new motorcycle.. it was too much action, not enough life

I went to sleep ever night for like a year listening to the soundtrack and watching the movie!!!! LOL
Yeah. I noticed that too. The only place I really saw any Eclipse merch was at the camp out for the premiere! Since then I haven’t seen as much. And even there, there was more NM stuff than Eclipse stuff all over the fans!
I was kinda disappointed tho, cause I really thought that Eclipse was gonna rock! And do way better than NM $ wise.
I have a feeling that is another reason they are making us wait a lot longer for these next 2… They really need to stratigize how they go about advertising and all for these last 2. I have a feeling that if any are going to do well it will be these 2… At least that is what I’m hoping! Especially with the lag on production and stuff… I’ve always said, even tho I want it NOW, I’d rather wait for something that I will LOVE instead of just kinda LIKE… =D

She can still have visions with the wolves around – just not see anything involving the wolves. So, in BD when she uses the wolves to fix the headache it works because they are in such close proximity to Bella (the cause of the headache) that she can’t see anything relating to Bella, thus headache gone.

yeah i didnt see bella most times, mostly kristen. what ticked me off more was: so no one bawls their eyes out while their best friend whom they love is physically in pain and telling them you dont love them enough as you love your boyfriend? BS. it was just like: “sorry, jake i love edward more. well hope you feel better. catch ya on the flipside.” my friend who isnt even fan noticed and thought it was just wrong. and then they switched over to happy B/E in the meadow? it was just awkward, weird, and wrong to me. didnt make any sense at all. they were too busy adding scenes from the newborn army which was from bree’s book!

actually jake is in it a lot. they didn’t cut much of him out. it just seems that way cos its not new moon. i think new moon was better including the action and was the one that stayed most true to the book.

i was also sad to not see jake’s epiloque. that would’ve been a more epic ending not bella’s dumb speech which i still don’t understand. wasn’t it all about edward? of course it was. *rme*

They could have kept it simple and not even bother to say when Riley disappeared. Riley is from Forks so of course his parents would come to Charlie sooner or later, even if he disappeared in Seattle. But I think they wanted to emphasize the fact that Charlie will not give up on Bella, just as Rileys parents are not giving up, even after such a long time he has been missing. Still, they could have just omitted the date on the missing poster, no?The more I watch Eclipse the more it looks to me like a movie that has been rushed, like they had a deadline to keep and they had to wrap it up no matter what, mistakes and all.I mean, rosalie is not in the whole fight scene, because the light was somehow wrong and they had no more time to reshoot them. and the list goes on…

If they are in fact hand me downs from his biological parents then they must have been pretty rich and significant I mean a heart diamond that big would be expensive enough these days let alone back then and if they were significant it would be harder to explain the dissapearance of Edward and the jewellery from the family. Anyway yeh do you know?
