I felt like the entire movie was rushed! Like the right hook scene and the tent scene… Bellas face when she right hooks Jacob is not very… flattering. hey spent too much time on the graduation scene and the blanket from Mom scene.
But I did like the “learning to fight the newborns” scenes as well as the fight scenes… but the Edward/Victoria fight needed, I don't know, a little more, I guess. It was over too quickly… but it was good.
You can tell they added the parts for Dakota. Jane's lines of “should we this, or should we that… decisions, decisions” were just a little lame… just not very believable.
The movie needed a little more comedy… lines like Jacob's “im hotter” line. That one was pretty good!
Jasper actually has a tear in his eye in one scene (thought Vampires couldn't cry???) But the scene is moving, so I pretended not to see it.

OMG I really didn’t understand the end of the movie and what MR was thinking???? You’re right Bella is portrayed like she takes advantage of Edward. The song was so beautiful and I really expected something romantic, but when she said she chose him cause she belongs to the vampire wold and not everything is about him I thought it was disgusting.

Lieben79…I agree. I thought I was the only one, but I enjoyed NM better (and NM is not my fav book), Eclipse is my favorite book, and that's the reason why I feel this way, Dont get me wrong either, I liked the movie too and don't regret watching, but still…..I don´t get some of the scenes, I would have liked to see Bella feeling miserable after kissing Jacob, and saying that Edward is her whole life. But what did we get?? Bella portrayed like she just takes advantage of Edward b/c she belongs to his world. I mean…¿¿what??

I know what you mean about “bigger budget does not always mean better”. Twilight will always remain my favorite though it didn't have so many special effects. But this movie made me read the books, and I watched it like at least 20 times, I can't say that about NM. And yeah the Cullens were more believable. The Twilight Cullens could be your school mates and not know if they are vampires. But NM and Eclipse Cullens will definitely make you asking yourself questions, cause their amber eyes are too noticeable. I kind of don't agree with the part how they break into pieces cause they are all made of marble. SM said that their skin is flawless and has the texture and feel of marble. I mean they are still human, kind of dead but if they are only marble when they drink blood where does it go? ) Anyway I was just thinking that, it doesn't mean I'm right:D I liked the new Victoria too, I forgot during the movie she's another, but I really like to see how Rachelle could have done it.

You are right about the song, so beautiful and romantic….I expected something better at the scene.
I have to say I like the tent scene, and the proposal, but this last one was so quickly like they were in a hurry or something. That song “my love” is so perfect, but they didnt leave us enjoy it, neither did the scene itself.

i understand what you are saying. But In my opinion being 16 years old is a poor excuse for his behavior. If I were to make that excuse for him that would be like me condoning what he did. I refuse to condone his behavior. It has nothing to do with Edward. Just because Edward is 109 and jacob is 16 does not make Jacob’s behavior ok. It has to do with Bella not Edward and the fact that she has the right to decide for herself. No one has the right to tell her otherwise including jacob.I put myself in bella’s shoes and if i make it very clear to someone that this is what i want then you need to respect that. Bella is a person she is not an object. Doesn’t Bella have a say in all of this? The only thing she wants is to spend an eternity with the man she loves. That’s her right. And here comes this 16 year old kid telling her that she’s making the wrong decision, Ok nothing wrong with that. The problem comes when he refuses to respect her as a person and the choice she made and so now he thinks it’s ok to cross the lines. So now he tramples all over her as if she were some piece of dirt and not a person. She’s not an object. She is a person who has the God given right to decide whats right and whats wrong for her. I dont understand how people can make excuses for Jacob and completely ignore the fact that this was done to Bella not them. What does bella have to say in all of this? I certainly do not see her saying “Well i understand why jacob assaulted me he is only 16 years old and Edward is 109.”Thats the excuse that SM makes for Jacob. SM reminds me of the mother who makes excuses for her child whenever he does wrong. “Well he’s only 16,”‘ Well he’s only 16 what do you expect?” Sorry but that does not sit well with me. I don t want Jacob to suffer. He deserves to be loved by someone who will give him her whole heart. But no i do not feel sorry for him not one bit. I know that Bella has blame in this too. But jacob added more to his suffering and he needs to reflect on all the BS that he did and get it together.

I Know Right! It definitely didn’t look awkward to me. Taylor looks like an amazing kisser no doubt lol. I mean look at those soft, full lips, what an angel . And I agree with you on the Bella/Edward kisses, every time they kissed I was like rolling my eyes and thinking here we go again. They just seem too forced to me. Jake’s kiss was much more sensual and emotional.

The Jake/Bella kiss was uncomfortable in a good way lol. I love how there was a lil sweet kiss at the end of their makeout session on the hill! Butterflies! And Edward looked like he hadn’t moved a muscle when she came back to the tent, lmao.

Flounder! So glad you saw it and liked it! You were on my list of people I was wondering about. It really is good. Seeing it tomorrow night again and I can't wait. I have never had the experience of liking a Twilight movie that was in theaters (liked the first one but that was when it was on DVD) and I like it!

Eclipse is my least favorite book of all 4.I'm not a fan of 3rd parties,but DS definitely did a great adaptation of the book.I just don't need to see it again on theater,but I'll buy the DVD nonetheless.

I agree with you. I do think if Jacob had as much experience as Edward, he too would be a gentlemen. I think that Edward passes Jacob off as desperate, which I think may be true. But I wonder if Edward would almost be desperate too, if Bella didn’t choose him. Oh, and I also wish that Bella would’ve actually admitted verbally “I am in love with Jacob”. That would’ve made it better
