It begins with an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the production of the newest film. My dad just ordered me water for elephants. He asked me what it was about. And I was really brief about it. Just telling him it was a love story about a student vet who got involved with the circus. Anyway, he looked at me and said 'The guy falls in love with an elephant?' He really should stop trying to be funny. LOL
I did really love NM w/subsequent viewings – TOTALLY better than Twilight, no arguments there! However, first reaction was not great. I was (still am) completly pi$$ed off about how Ch22 was totally gone, no Bella thinking she was dead, no “meteor” speech, rushed ending, etc.
I had spent months anticipating this movie, especially those parts, and had very high (probably unrealistic) expectations, based on the trailers, etc. I had seen.
For Eclipse, hearing more about the battles/action/Riley backstory than the romance, I am trying VERY hard not to watch anything beyond the 1 trailer, and go in w/o expectations, so that I'm (hopefully) pleased w/the outcome. I guess I've accepted that the movie will never live up to the books – sigh.
I made the mistake of finding the ComicCon footage of the Italy scene on YouTube – that convinced me to avoid the break-up scene. I really felt like I'd seen almost 2/3 of the movie before it was in the theatres for NM, and it really killed it for me. I want to love Eclipse – DS, please bring the romance to this movie!!!

I dont want to buy a third but I want the 7minutes and I hate watching bootleg crap it never looks as good. What to do what to do….buy the walmart version for my sis and watch the 7min or just give in and have 3 copies. My obsession is getting the best of me…Thank God I dont have to worry about nobody but myself because they would go hungry in March, lol.

I agree with the rushed ending. I think most do. That was the whole point of that bedroom scene. To convince Bella that he did love her and in the movie it was like, “Oh, Edward, the last six months of horrific nightmares and hallucinations mean nothing. I forgive you. Kiss me.” WTF? The editing into each new scene was really bad, too, but I agree I still love every minute and that Chris did a brilliant job with the actual scenes themselves.

I wouldn't be suprised because in Twilight they cut out Charlie's “are people talking about the Cullens again” which is part of the story and oh yeah I wanna see Charlie chow Eddie a new one.
