BDH looks like Rachelles stand in. The hair looks fake and the way she is carrying he self just looks really off. I think there will be a big difference in how the fans react to Victoria between New Moon and Eclipse. I almost wish they wouldn't focus so much on the Victoria and how she builds the Vampire Army due to I don't think BDH will be able to pull it off. There is going to be such a huge contrast between Rachelle's Victioria and BDH's especially if the made Rachelle's part in New moon bigger we didn't see much of her in Twilight.

And like I said at the end of my post I hope she can do it and maybe if we could see a picture of her more clearly feelings would change. As for Bryce, the lace top with cuffs and the fresh perm don't scream wild, murderous, nomadic vampire to me. Especially one who's extremely vengeful and frustrated about not being able to kill Bella.

I have a feeling she's dressed this way to lure Riley into her coven of fighters but she's a vampire. She doesn't need to dress up to seduce a man. WTF.

Slade got this character all wrong thus far. Victoria should be wild through and through and now it seems like he's trying to tame her because the Saga's becoming so commercialized. CW found a good balance between Catherine's grit and rawness and being commercial. Slade should do the same.

When I saw these pics last night, I thought the same thing. The wig is just too wrong. way too curly it seems. She looks shorter than rachelle. Even from far away, the makeup looks wrong. I hope on film she looks more convincing than these pics.

I thought the same thing at first too, but the more i thought about it, she did have to reel riley in. since we didnt get to read that part in the book, they had to make it up for the movie. she is probably trying to play this poor little female who riley is going to want to help. That is my opinion though

Isn't she trying to manipulate him? Maybe she is letting him be the aggressor, making him think think he has this power of the people, including her, so she can get him to do her biding, and of course it works. The scene looks accurate to me.

I think Bryce looks fine, I still miss Rachelle, but I'm not going to be picky, I'm just one of those people who are thankful to see my favorite book translated to screen. As long as Rob Pattinson is still onboard I'm A-Ok!

I think for continuity they had to try to get it to look similar, but right your right, it doesn't look right on Bryce. They should have tried to find a compromise.

Rachelle seems a lovely person but it's like, if you're gonna start another job you really should check they don't over lap. From these pics the hair doesn't suit her, but then again they have to match it to previous films and it's amazing what they can do in post production these days.

I'm willing to give BDH a chance simply because she stepped into the role when someone was needed to fill the void. I mean we can't have Eclipse with out Victoria and if RLf is away shooting another film then we must have someone to play the role right? and I kind of thought she was rather good in the Village, I'll just reserve my judgement on whose the best Victoria after I've seen both New Moon and Eclipse.

I think it's up to him to choose his future roles carefully, to chose diverse roles as Johnny Depp has…and I think it's up to us, as his fans to support him in these roles.

I think there's always the chance that an actor will be type cast in a role and not breakout as an actor but I have read artcles where Rob has been asked about that very thing and he says he's not worried about it. I guess he's not into acting to be a superstar, he does it because he likes it. As long as he's happy with his life….

this is true. but remember the way victoria talks to riley the whole time? she's always bossing him around: sweetly, maybe, but she still dominated their relationship. i pictured her being really nice and gentle with him, but at the same time, she has to get riley to worship her every move, so she has to kinda be in his face and force him to love her i guess is what i was looking for in this scene.

When i first saw QoD I hadn't read the books and didn't even realise it was a sequel to Interview until he uttered those immortal words, “I am the vampire Lestat.” and i was like, OMG that's from Interview with the Vampire and i watched it and enjoyed it as a vampire film.

Then i started reading the books and fool that I am I read Queen of the Damned before Vampire Lestat because i wanted to get the film book out of the way. Then I was like OMG it's such a hatchett job, it seemed to me that the person who wrote the screen play had the story vaguly described to them and then they just went through both books picking out charecters left right and centre and not really caring about what their true role in the movie was. It was nothing like Anne Rice wrote.

i listened to the directer's commentary and his excuse was that there was no room to put everything in, you'd need a full length series for that. But maybe they could have fit a bit more in if they hadn't smooshed the books together.

Now i just watch it without connecting it to the books i read.

i 10000000% agree. and if u think about it, Rachelle is only in the final scene so how much of actual shooting schedula would she b absent for because she would prob only need MAYBE a week to shoot her parts. 10 FREAKING DAYS… THAT IS TOTALLY, COMPLEATLY BULLSH*T.
Summit just wanted to get Rachelle out and they were waiting for their chance, and the found it in a 10 day overlap. Summit almost did the same thing to Cam Giagandet, because he was gunna miss OVER a 2week overlap and they did everything they could to keep him in this movie: including miving all his scenes to film at the begining/quickly so that he could go shoot his other movie.
It is not that summit could not have done this, what they did for Cam, they just chose not to, which in their part is prob the STUPIDEST thing they could have possibly done.
AGAIN, I WILL BE OVERJOYED WHEN BDH DIES IN THIS MOVIE SO THAT I NEVER HAVE TO SEE HER UGLY CRAPPY ACTING AGAIN.

Isn't Rachelle hair longer too. I mean the hair on BDH might work if it was longer (MAYBE!) and the outfit doesn't look like a Victoria outfit. Don't know anything about BDH, but I bet she is feeling the pressure. Hope Summit can make it work. I don't think the movie will have the same impact it could of had without Rachelle.

I could too but they did that with twilight and new moon too. They have to introduce the bad guys a little bit more than in the book for the sake of non readers. Even if the TRUE fans would rather more true to the books film time.

So I decided to do general cleaning, now I'm left with a spanking clean house. So I decided to do some shopping, now my house looks different, my kids are ready for the new school year, and I'm almost broke. So I decided to do some cooking, now there's a meal for almost every night in the refrigerator and lots of baked goodies. So I decided to pay some attention to the yard, now it's missing half the junk that's just been sleeping there, the dog got some repairs to his pad, and the turtle's sandpit got a face lift. So I decided to go all out, I decided to clean up the garden patch in front of the house, and now I have a beautiful mini garden just waiting for the school kids to pass and pick them clean. So now everyone is happy.

Except me. So I decided on a new hairstyle, a facial, mani, pedi, the works. I feel good, but something's still missing.

I did all these things with the thought that if I was a good girl, I would get a Rob sighting. So anybody out there with a Rob sighting, I think I can feel withdrawal tremors……

Today i actually did something.

I did some of my school work, started to get bored so i started to doodle. Anything and everything on my mind like
“I wonder what Rob looks like Naked”
“Is he big? i should ask Kristen that”
“Is he a good kisser? i should ask Kristen that too”
“I wonder why NMM or EM hasn't got any new news”
“Has everyone died in Vancouver?”
By the end i had a massive page full of Twilight thoughts. which didn't put me in a good mood as there still was no news.

So then i decided to watch Transformers 2 – because i'm cool – with a friend and i started to think again “I'd love to see Rob do some sexy Transformer lead role and save the Earth” “Rob is so much better looking then Shia, i do like Shia though” “That whore Megan making her rounds”

Another evening spent thinking about twilight and Rob. I need to go take a shower “I wonder what i'd do to Rob if he was in the shower with me” “A nice cold shower, so we had to rub ourselves to keep warm” “We could do each other favours, wash each other” “Then we could do … other … stuff”

man, i miss Rob.

I'm actually wondering if this is where she turns him, and they're not going to keep up a mystery like in the book. After all, most of the people seeing the movie will already know, so what's the point? Not that I agree with that, but that's probably how Slade is thinking. I'm going to give BDH the benefit of the doubt. She deserves that much. Who knows, she may end up being excellent. I mean, at least her voice will fit the part. Har Har. :/

No, I think her hair color is right, because if you really look at fire it's more of a burnt red/orange than a blood red. But I still think the clothing choice is wrong, it feels too ancient goth like and not so much nomad.

I think something is going on, since 2 days straights it' s been same new on both sites. Or nothing is going on between casts…. either one.

hehe well i had my share of Rob today. my TV was on and i didn't really pay attention to the movie that was on.. until i looked up and saw ROB PATTINSON on my screen. it was this movie he did Curse Of The Ring. LOL. he's so adorable in this movie. old time old times. and his voice. so child like still LOL.

Yes, I think that we will see alot of Seattle and Victoria in this movie than we saw in the book. I agree with Lainey that I'm not feeling the badass in these shots, and frankly that's my biggest concern about BDH. Can she do badass evil? I'm not sure. But I'm willing to give her the benefit and see how it goes. Not seeing their faces clearly or knowing how she's speaking or what's being said may be why I'm not feeling the badass.

Yeah, I really hope that makes it in to the movie, I've re-read that part of the book more than any other part! I am totally Team Leg Hitch!! =)

OK firstly lets all remember we've only got a few photos so we cannot judge Bryce just by this. I'll admit the hair looks really, really weird, its more frizzy than curly like Rachelle's was in Twilight and New Moon, (although i prefered her hair colour in new moon, its supposed to be more red than strawberry blonde), and the outfit looks quite gothic, but again we cannot judge the whole scene, or BDH and even David Slade's concept. They've only just started filming, so we can't tell if its going to be good or bad, I think we should all go into Eclipse with an open mind, and remember we can't discourage BDH for everything she does simply because she isn't Rachelle, ITS NOT HER FAULT… even though I would prefer Rachelle, but atleast they're making the movie, so isn't that the main thing right now?! Rachelle and Bryce are two different people, and maybe David doesn't want to make her look like Rachelle's Victoria, after all hes the new director and its his vision etc… I know people are worried that because he has made all these horror movies in the past his concept will be quite “dark” but Eclipse is pretty dark… and we can only wait until the movie comes out before we start being critical.
Oh another thing… people are questioning why shes making out with Riley… well isn't she supposed to lure him into thinking she loves him so he does all ehr dirty work for her?! We may not have read about it in the book but its a movie, obviously they're going to try an show every angle that we didn't get to see in the book.
I personally am going to try and go into Eclipse with an open mind and my expectations are going to be low, that way i'll be able to enjoy it more and i won't be disappointed =]
REMEMBER PEOPLE… WE CANNOT MAKE ALL THESE ASSUMPTIONS ON A FEW PHOTOS WHICH ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE UP, AND IN SUCH EARLY DAYS OF FILMING…
